Title: Kobra's Realm 2
Post by: SonicFreak on February 21, 2004, 04:40:15 PM
Author: voodooKobra
Platform: RPG Maker 2000

Story
Wars plague earth like fleas on a dead rat.
Battles broke out all over, and Lokust somehow managed to stay on top of it all.
Now, with the wars over, Lokust returns to Kobra's Realm to visit (and piss off) Kobra.

1. Battle Systems
BotoJutsu
Active Time Battles
Archery
Action Battles

1.a BotoJutsu
Botojutsu is fairly simple. You hit space or enter when the Attack Time is as close to 50 as you want it to be, if you hit it dead on 50, you have a 99% chance of an instant win! Your opponent also gets a random value close to 50, closest wins!

1.b Active Time Battles
The ATB system is the most popular of the 4 battle systems. You wait until your little meter is filled, then you can attack. The new ATB system is more flexible and is also compatible with the other 3 battle systems!

1.c Archery
Really, this is only used in one part of the game. But it was such a "programming accomplishment" that it has to be listed. Basically you hit space and you shoot your opponent. Rainbow stars give you 20 Arrows. White stars make your arrows "Holy Arrows."

1.d Action Battles
Those who have played Kobra's Realm 1 through the demon forest should have no problem with this. Walk up and hit space to attack your opponent. *CHEAT* let your guy miss twice while holding the space bar and then touch the enemy on the third hit to do triple the damage! This also works with missing the first one to do double.
