I don't even understand where you got that idea, the whole thing is ridiculous. First of all it would cost at least three times as much as you'd think just to get the operation, and there is no way that insurance would even cover half of it. Don't get me wrong, I sympathize! At this time of year especially it's going to be difficult, what with the holidays. Honestly though, you just need to stand up to your boss and let her know that it's her fault, and you expect her to pay it. You wont lose your job, and it'll keep you from going any further into debt, which you obviously can't afford. Regardless, we're here for you for as much as that counts, and we're all wishing you good luck! Merry Christmas man.

I think you may have responded to the wrong thread. I hope I haven't missed some important post.

So on the subject of Xmas stuff, how is everyone doing in the area of gifts? I got a digital drum set, which is pretty wicked. I've also got some CDs that are in the mail: Sound Awake by Karnivool, Altered State by Tesseract, and The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories) by Steven Wilson.

I got a very respectable haul, but I'm mostly just staring blankly, trying to figure out what the hell Apex is talking about.

Maybe someone deleted his/her post that was written before Apex' one?

Still haven't gotten any gifts here. Rest of the family is away so we'll do that gift giving thing at the start of 2014.

My parents wanted to get me a nice new coat, since my old peacoat was stolen a year ago so they bought and ordered a new one online. They found a very cheap Ralph Lauren coat on ebay.  Problem was they didn't realize it was a chinese ripoff. :P

Other than that, I got some shirts and a new wallet, a hoodie and a ton of free food. Was actually pretty awesome.

The Raven That Refused to Sing
That album's good fun. Much better than his previous solo attempts, I think.

I got fire emblem awakening which I've been meaning to get and play forever. I'm not sure what I think of it yet, although the cutscenes are incredible.
