Stupid poll, there is no best system.
If I had to decide I'd say PS because of FFT and Vagrant Story.

Yes yes those are all great and all but the NES started it all

NES didn't start it all, not by a long shot. If you researched what happened before your generation, you'd see the Atari, Colecovision, lots of home consoles that were widely popular. Nintendo made some good systems, but it wasn't the beginning, not by a long shot. And, frankly, their hardware was crap against Sega.

I meant quality of the games.
N64 has brought me endless hours of hapiness and entertainment. Ocarina of Time (I played this for far more than 1000 hours total, I assure you.), Majora's Mask, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64... I bet I'm forgetting tons. N64 is by far the greatest. But don't get me wrong. Gamecube and X-Box are great systems! They're just nothing compared to N64, and actually, SNES is better than Gamecube and X-Box. I'm still playing my DKC2 on SNES. That was the greatest Donkey Kong game ever. I've beaten it many times before, but I'm goin' through it again! It never gets old! But still, Ocarina of Time was my favorite game EVER so far. I hope Zelda 2005 can bring me as much enjoyment as OoT did.
I'd reeeally like a port of SFX64 to GCN.

I don't think either can win. They're aimed at different markets! The PSP is flahier and has a higher price tag and as such is a portable all-in-one entertinment system.
Meanwhile the more affordable DS focuses on games and innovation in games. That's why it has a pen and two screens! It's trying to do something new while the PSP sticks to it's guns so they won't have to clash!

I doubt that. Some kid wants a good handheld, he has to pick.

Don't tell people what to do, you Nintendo fanboy, you. :badboy:
But seriously, I'd probably reccommend the DS. ;)
The battery time is a pretty big problem for Sony. No doubt they will bring out an expensive accessory to enhance the battery power.
When I first read about the DS, it sounded gimicky, but now it seems that it may very well be the superior little machine besides the graphics. But hey, if you really cared about cutting edge graphics, you'd go out and upgrade your computer every week, right?

Don't tell me what to do, Captain Hueston J Xbox, Luitenant 100 Playstation games, Admiral Crunch.
Besides, if I was a fanboy, I'd have posters everywhere, about everygame that existed and Nintendo tattooed to my forehead. I support Playstation too, but from what I've heard, the PSP will lose horribly.

It's right there. I called him Admiral Crunch.
Annnnyway, Dominant, stop complainin', me and El Prez are old friends. Old as in I've known him for one day less than he was born. Erm, that is to say, he's a day older... I met him the second day of his life. There.
