IN 2007...

A terrorist organization who called themselves Society sought to unleash total chaos on Earth. After retrieving the three Chaos Stones, they quickly put their plan into motion, releasing a deadly entity, Zeke Marshall, in the process. After attempting to create a new world using the stones' powers, Zeke was defeated by the Celestial Prince and his eleven companions. Zeke was destroyed, Society disbanded, the world returned to normal, and the Chaos Stones were never seen again...

TEN YEARS LATER...

Jazz Singer Kyon Lei Kwon has come to Rodger City for help after being stalked by a mysterious foe who calls himself "Face." Chep Myers instructs his best officer, Eric Ventura, to guard and protect her. This mission takes a turn for the worst when Face crashes the scene and attacks Eric with one of his demons. While unconscious, Eric hears a mysterious voice that greats him magical ability and a sword, both of Relman origin, and tells him to "protect the Princess."

Eric uses this to save the singer, but his mission is far from over. He soon learns of the Twelve Demons of Chaos, a group of vicious beasts who terrorized the Realm dimension. Their combined strength created the original chaos stones and after losing the war to Celestia, they fled to Earth, where they thought they would be safe. After the events of ten years ago, the stones broke apart and separated, entering twelve human bodies, where they lie dormant...waiting for the moment where they are able to regain their full power once again.

Eric and Face both race to find the twelve demons, but the battle lines aren't entirely clear once motives become clear and manipulation sweeps in. Can Eric and his friends follow this voice that has been guiding them, or does the voice have a mind of its own? Will Face succeed in retrieving all twelve demons, and what does he plan to do with them? Furthermore, how will the emergence of "Unity" come into play? This is war between Earth, Realm, Celestia, and dimensions all over... This is Complete Chaos!

Features:
      - A cast of twelve unique playable characters, each with their own distinct roles, abilities and personalities
      - Challenging (but never impossible!) gameplay that places emphasis on developing strategy
      - Several hours of game time, as well as numerous optional quests to complete

Controls:
      - Arrow keys: move
      -  X, V or C: open menu
      - Enter: action key (open doors or treasures / talk)
      - Esc: back / exit

You're seriously using James Avery as a portrait? And no one on the screen doesn't have a
beard or is black for that matter.

Christopher Lee ? Christopher fucking Lee? And he talks like a whigger who seen to many black stereotype movies. And not
to mention that the one who speaks looks like 20 or below of age.

I wouldn't be able to take this game seriously.

The character in white is much darker than the other four.

This game is dark comedy. I'm pretty sure everyone playing this know it is not going to change their lives and nor is it meant to.

Chris Lee is a moron, but not a wigger. That is the only time he talks like that. =P

Anyways, give it a shot. It's meant to be weird and a bit zany at first, but I promise you that it is not complete **** despite how a few games like this appear and has a coherent storyline and multi-layered characters. You may even like it. =P

Besides, everyone and in their mother are always using Final Fantasy and anime-inspired facesets. I wanted to do something a bit different from the norm and make my game look a little more distinct.

Something one-shotted me, so I'm a bit too pissed right now to try playing again, but I probably will later. The story seems interesting, and the dialogue is well-done...but I'm not sure it's really a "dark comedy." I didn't see a lot of comedy when I played it. It looks more like a drama peppered with a few comedic scenes. That's all right, because it works well as a drama.

But since it's not exactly a comedy and you're not going to be sending it to Drak any time soon, you have more of a responsibility to fix the graphical issues, and ...dear god...the faces are awful. Like, real photographs next to RTP next to random video game concept art next to anime? There's no way that's going to work. My recommendation is, stick exclusively to photos, but open them in Photoshop and play with the filters to make them look less realistic. There's also an issue with using super high-quality Theodore chipsets with decent-quality chips that just don't match at all. This isn't as jarring as the face sets, but it's something you might consider trying to fix. Also, the charsets are for the most part not bad....but you should probably make sure all of them look like they belong in this era. People walking around in capes and crazy armor are going to stick out like none other. And the main guy's girlfriend's boobs are enormous and look like torpedos...you don't want people gawking at stuff like that during a dramatic scene.

I know it's probably annoying to listen to someone gripe about something like graphics, but there aren't many other issues (Except for me getting one-shotted, but I'll try again and see if it's something I did wrong). I'll play it again in a bit and come back with more to say about everything else.

Was it this game or Heaven and Hell 3 that used a Bill Cosby avatar for gang members.

Wrong game haha. Bill Cosby is not featured in this.

Also, a few RTP files were missing, but they have been added and the old download has been replaced. I think that's what happened to you, Valiere.

No, not at all. I appreciate your comment.

I started this in 2007 when I didn't give a **** about graphics. But that was almost three years ago and now I do. Unfortunately, when I started caring, the game was 80% completed anyways and I didn't feel like going back over to change everything, so I just decided to keep it in. All of the central cast/villains/NPCs feature real people, but when it came to the town folk, I just didn't care at the time. Graphics have always been my weak spot, but hopefully my other strengths (if I have anyway!) will outweigh that.

Well, fixing the facesets and occasional charset should be pretty simple if you're down. It usually looks better if you can find the original photos instead of tweaking your current facesets...like, I used the poster edges filter and some minor tweaking with brightness/contrast here:

You can probably do something way better with a little research into how to cartoonify photos.
