This is a dumb game where one basically posts up to 3 obscure trivia hints that allows the next posters to guess what it could possibly be. It should be a hint akin to something you'd find in like a crossword; it should be pretty clear when the game starts up what's going on. After a person successfully guesses at least 1 of the hints, they are free to post their own batch of up to 3 trivias. Unanswered hints can be later answered by other players, but won't count to their credit of being able to post their own ones.
I'll start us off with a full batch.
1. Ultra-violent fictional Californian who uses a fluorescent light-bulb as a sword.
2. Charas member who had a Rupert Julian horror monster as his avatar. Could also allegedly shoot homing projectiles.
3. Giant versions of R2-D2 who can talk and are tasked with exterminating PhD's.
Guess at least 1 correctly to proceed!
-
2. Raffles.
-
1. Travis Touchdown
2. Raffles
3. Dalek
-
Yeah. Those are all right.
By rules, Lucas should now post a set!
-
1. Electric type Pokémon, that despite being strong and having a more interesting design, isn't even close to being as popular as his pre-evolution.
2. Former police officer of a small mountain city, more recently the bodyguard of the President of the United States, he is responsible for ending the illegal activities of a Spanish cult.
3. Powerful alien being described by one of his minions as an "Almighty idiot".
-
1. Raichu
2. Dunno.
3. Geigue Gyiyg Giygas.
-
2 is Leon, from RE4
-
Indeed. Ed may go on.
-
1. Small furry creature whose extreme personality change netted him a more mature audience.
2. Recurring element of media, usually done to the point of annoyance.
3. Video game console possibly thwarted by its own lack of copy protection.
-
1. Conker?
2. Trope? Meme?
-
3. Every game console in the world?
-
3. Any Gameoby ever.
-
Bluhman got 1 and 2 right.
-
Wii?
-
No. All that have been listed (minus zuhane) had some form of copy protection, whether intentional or not. But this one had absolutely nothing. Any old shmuck with a computer could copy the games for this one.
-
CD-I?
-
The 1st person who can get at least 1 right can post their batch. So...
1. Sword used by both Frog and Sephiroth.
2. Giant metal monsters, come in 'Bouncer' and 'Rosie' varieties.
3. Name of the book 'Blade Runner' was based off of.
You can keep taking shots at ED's 3rd one, but make sure to quote it so that we know it's his we're referring to.

...shiny sword? I got nothing.
-
1 Masamune, foo.
-
1 Masamune, foo.
Yup.
-
...shiny sword? I got nothing.
Dude. Dude. You're not even cool anymore.
-
2 is Big Daddy.
I got nothin' for 3.
-
3: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
I've got a copy that I never bothered to start reading.

B. North American Street Fighter, the second-tallest character in the series.
C. Pony who sells Apples and Apple accessories. And wears a hat.
-
A. Mark Hamill, of course
B. T Hawk?
-
Those are hard...
3. Your little one?
-
Yeah, Hobo's right on the nose with those ones. Lucas' is a point in the right direction I think.
-
1. Renowned as one of the best roleplaying games ever made, despite poor animation and laughable voicacting. Features a cyberpunk setting.
2. The man who broke the bat.
3. A composer and performer who started his career in the 60s. Bears an iconic mustache, and often writes nonsensical lyrics.
-
2. Bane? The guy who broke batman's back? :P

2) Bane
3) Frank Zappa
-
Lucas got Bane right, Fruckert got everything right.
-
And since I was the first, I win! :D
1. Black assassin robot who will self destruct after killing its target. Is the new version of a yellow robot created by the same company.
2. Video game villain who is well known for being the cheapest character on a certain spin off game.
3. Musician from the 60s who had a pretty cool stache at one point. His work was influenced by Indian music, and he died of cancer in the 00s.
