Now usually I try to keep my drama off Charas, ya'll been way to good to me over the years after all! Raised me in a sense. I was such an I literate troll when I came here! XD
Alas as much as I count this place as a second home my real one is why I'm writing. See my mother, despite hating me taking on working on the Chain Games and dedicating 9+ years of my life to games in general, loves me. She's always supported me. She is my world. And she has a bone spur cutting into her spine. One of ten. This will paralyze her if she doesn't take on a very dangerous operation soon, one where she could die on the table. I live in a backwater that makes Tatoone look sophisticated. Our Neurosurgeons are one the 3-4 star range so.... If she dies? So too do I in soul. The Fish you know, that purple haired rogue, won't be leading the charge into hordes of Sith,Trolls and other Eldritch abominations. He'll cease to be in every sense of the word. And ....
He wants to know he loves each and everyone one of you and wishes he could have showered you all in games staring each and everyone of you, even you Dragonium,Jet and Raffles. ^_^ I love even my enemies and yes even you trolls.

I hope the surgery goes well for your mom, take care of her!
-
Really hoping everything turns out okay, and I'll ignore you putting me in the same category as Raffles because this is important. All the best.
-
I hope **** works out. Take care, fish.
-
Best of luck dude.
-
I hope everything turns out as well as it can.
-
Truly sorry to hear that :( I hope everything turns out well my friend!
-
If the operation hasn't already happened, then I too send my luck.

Oh you guys! TuT If only I would reply to each of your words and express how much they mean to me. But then I wouldn't be able to give you the possible good news would I?
Okay so the other day I finally got some good news. My mother went to Nashville to talk with the surgeon and get all that setup and he said what she has is bad, but not as a bad as the Doctor down here said it is. He can do a much less risky procedure, won't have to remove the disc itself but will go in through the side, with a shorter recovery time. Now I want to say this is great news and be all optimistic but I was raised a realist. Part of me knows this may be just another way of blowing her off and giving her a procedure that will not work and may in fact require two surgeries....But I want to have hope so I'm going to believe it's good news.
Also the Surgery will be on the 13th. I forgot to say that.
-
How have I not seen this?...
Good luck and take good care of her *hugs*
-
On the 13th, you say? Sounds like a good omen to me.

Mom got the surgery and is recovering at home. ^_^ Back to my role of in-home nurse. Gotta feed her liquid quick fixes but it seems everything is calmer now. Just gotta watch her for two weeks....without sleep. A task even for an insomniac like me.
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

Mothers are important so it's good to hear things have gone well for yours, pal.
-
Really glad to hear she's okay.
-
Well it's oddly you reply to this now, Zerlina cause actually sadly I have bad news. My mom's kidney that she's been complaining about apparently has an abnormality on it. We're not sure if it's benign or not but likely either way it means removal. Please pray it's not cancer, my friends. I'm going to go eat sugar as I can't tolerate the taste of alcohol fortunately.
-
I'm so sorry to hear that Fisherson. If there's any solace, the fact that they noticed the abnormality soon enough to take out her kidney is probably a good thing. My mom had an ovary removed a few years back and it turned out to have a pre-cancerous growth. The fact that they detected it saved her, knock on wood. It sounds like it might be the same with your mom.

Your and your mom's streak of unluck is quite heart-rending. :(
Hoping for you and your family that if any further procedure is necessary goes off smoothly.
