These should give a general idea of the color scheme:Red=Member Card,Blue=Monster Card,Green=Item/equipment Card, and Purple=Magic Card

Post by: Osmose on March 29, 2005, 08:57:22 PM: Eh, no offense, since it's only because you're using paint to make your template, but I like mine better. Here's a template for member cards, with my pic still in it to retain the frame around pictures.

The font used is called Chicago, and you can get it here (http://www.masterstech-home.com/The_Library/Font_Samples/Font_Sample_Files/PC/C/Chicago_TTF.zip) .

I think it would be a neat Idea to do .... I thought about it a few times myself ... but I been trying to find a way for the layout and game play before I actually make the game cuz I don't wanna make it to similar to already made games like Magic The Gathering (awesome game) or magi nation or other CCG's

But a few RM2K charas Card games would be awesome exspecially with different teams and different cards and Play.

Post by: Dragonium on March 30, 2005, 05:18:35 PM: Seeing as how I started this thread, I just wanna share some mega uber n00by wisdom with you all. I think... *Drumroll* ... That we should all use one thread... (You guys finish my sentence for me, I don't have a clue what to say next).

Anyway, I like the idea of making an RM2K game out of this. Maybe we have a "Password system", where all the cards have a code, and you put codes in and get cards.

Only drawback is that we'd need charsets of every single member involved in this.

PS. I know I've already posted it, but what do you guys think of my Firesword? I'm gonna try making it with Moose's template.

We need a full deck. Which means Creatures, Lands, Sorceries, etc. I'll keep a list of ones I think we should be able to use.

I reckon to keep it together, we need to be using the same software/sites. Personally, I recommend you go to this site (http://www.magic4you.nu/software/dantes/DantesCardCreator.php) and download the v3.2 Generator. It's what I'm using.

And I might edit some to get less 'overpowered', just adding some mana or something, and I had an Idea, fields would be PROJECTS! Like Lengen of Lea being a white mana, Darkness something being a black and so on...

But some cards are getting a little too overpowered. I mean, you can imagine a Kaiser Dragon being powerful, but some others... well...

And I really can't say when its overpowered or not, I mean, Lord Raffles really made a !$#@&%#$$$@!%$#&&$**¨&7 when he was here, so I made him kinda like... powerful.
And it makes sense GhostClow can destroy targets spam, because he actually do this all the time. Only the cards with random abilities don't make much sense.

I remade Weerd Thing's Card, just addead an BG and fixed some problems with size and stuff.

I think the mana cost for Call of the Kaiser should be higher. Otherwise they'll be all over the place and it'll be utter carnage. :D

Although, Call of the Kaiser costs 2 mana and you can put it in your hand. It's still costing 8 mana to actually play the thing.

Even saying that, 8 fire mana is harder to get than 3 fire mana and any other 5.

Tip1: Stay for search for only 1 card by name. (Wizard's tried that and it didn't end well...)

Tip2: Errata is your best friend...(Ex: You may play this ablitity only when you could play a sorcery)

Tip3: Use the keywords Morph, fear, haste, ect.

Tip4: You SHOULD NOT give colored cards things that don't fit thier colors (Ex: Database Glitch)

Tip5: Creature types, if a card says search your deck for a chocobo card it means not name but creature type.

Tip6: Spells and artifacts are differant, I have seen two artifact cards so far that have single use abilities and stay in play.

Green Card - More toughness and defense
Black Card - Destroy / Bring back from graveyard
White Card - Regenerates or Give life

edit: mrmister, i could print these out and send them to you if you would really burn them lol naw waste of color ink.

*NOTE* i do not condone the burning of some things, unless they are evil, or smell bad lol

To MSlash: If you must pay 2 colorless and one black to active your card's ability then this mean it would die when it comes into play. */* means it's 0/0 thus it would die. The key to these cards is to give them something like: 'Bowser's power and toughness equals to the amount of zombies in play'. The above doesn't requires any cost to activate, it activates as long as Bowser is in play. This also means that if there are zero zombies in play, Bowser becomes 0/0 and it dies right away. Of course the words Bowser and Zombies can be replace by just about anything.
