Yeah....megaman was replaced with Veiwtiful Joe. It wont matter how awesome this game is, it will never be RAD.

Why? Because it looks like its the most epic fighting game ever (really, Dante AND Deadpool? EPIC.) but I will never be able to play it, because I have no plans of getting a PS3 or a Xbox360.
Yeah. And its a shame. I'm sure the Wii could run this game just fine with some changes. Tatsunoko vs Capcom was an amazing game and worked so well on the Wii. If only I knew any of Tatsunoko's characters. x]

Eh. Archem, there are some hacks that replace Captain Falcon with V. Joe's model from Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
And if you aren't hacking your Brawl, you're missing half the fun.

Or just use Riivolution if you can boot Brawl via Disc Channel, or if you have a legit disk.

Megaman might get in but it'll probably be trigger, not normal Megaman, seeing as they recently unveiled Megaman Legends 3.

Megaman was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but it was the mega man of some other game. Still, it was mega man, and he was fun to play as. And he had this unique mechanic thingie, he could switch weapons, so he had more attacks than everyone else. But those were weapons from the other game.

Yeah that's Trigger/Volnutt from Megaman Legends. Which is ****ing great, by the way.

This is doubtful, for a very good reason; Tron Bonne has the Megaman trigger/volnutt music theme as her personal character BGM, this same theme was the one given to Volnutt in TvC. I speculate the inclusion of classic megaman, however, even though CAPCOM has denied it and disconfirmed it, I think X is more likely.
Why expect it if they said no already? CAPCOM are known to be liars. They said Yatterman-2 was a no go just before a week they announced it. Secondly, fans are wanting it. Thridly, the CAPCOM side roster of charactersis in dire need of villains. There's rumors going about Sigma might be in there, increasing X's chaces if that were true.
And there's also the horrible , horrible, possibility of a battle network Megaman.

Venom is awesome enough not to be considered a Spider Man villain anymore.
By the way. I'm not really following the news. Is the Venom in this the classic Venom or Mac Gargan? I don't really like the new one. He's like, a psycho with the Venom costume. They already had Carnage for that. Though at least Scorpion is better at following orders. But again, Venom should be on his own, saving hobos and killing Spiders, not being bossed around by Osborn. I want Eddie Brock to wear the costume again. That will be pretty much impossible, though ):

This is very unrelated but I gotta say this.
Marvel has to find a way to get Venom back into Eddie, and then give him his own series, just like they did in the 90s (well, like 10 mini series that started where the other ended, but you can still call it a series because thats what it is. no idea why they spllit up like that), where he is the hero. I mean, suuure, people enjoy looking at Venom as a murdering beast that kills everyone and eats their brain... But I'd rather watch Carnage do that, and keep Venom as a anti-hero, killing only bad guys and then eating their brains. Sounds bad, but the Punisher does it and nobody seems to care. Well, he doesn't eats their brains. But neither does Venom, anyway, he eats chocolate, only Carnage eats brains, but I'm not even sure if he does it because he's a psycho or if its because of the symbiote needing that thingie in the brains. I'd bet its the former. But yeah, Venom, protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty, that was awesome, and it would be aweosme if they did it again. Really.

Venom is probably going to be DLC. He's not in most probably because Marvel didn't want him to be in. Apparently the was one of the major reasons why some loved marvel characters didn't make the cut on the disc (venom, gambit, cyclops, ghost rider)

Couldn't care less about Cyclops or Ghost Rider (though at least Ghost Rider is a cool dude), but Venom and Gambit rock.
Venom might be out because Venom is gone from the comic books a likely not coming back. Since the alien left Eddie, and now Eddie's got this thing that prevents him from touching the symbiote, who's now bonded to Scorpion, who's a murdering faggot who doesn't know how to use the alien right ):

No idea about the others. Megaman will probably be DLC too, they can't just leave him out like that. That's like not adding Ryu or something.

Lucas, there is a heap of characters who people want in that didn't get in. If they answered everyone's requests, you'd get an unbalanced clusterfuck even worse than MvC2.

Eh, but Venom is not only of their most famous chars (more famous than a lot of people there), he has already been on the other games, and could have a really interesting gameplay style.
Exactly the same thing for Megaman.

Also it should be noted, they've stated that they want to have varied playstyles for each character, with no characters playing mostly the same. If there's a character who plays a lot like Venom, he's unlikely to get in.

Who could possibly play like Venom out of those chars? Same thing for Mega Man, too. I mean, he was by far the most unique character in TvC, with his weapon switch thing and all.
But again. Dante and Deadpool. Can't complain.

Now, that's awesome. First half at least, my internet didn't want to load the rest.
You know, another possible reason for Venom being out (yeah, I just can't let go) could be the plot and such. Maybe they wanted just guys who cared about saving the planet. Eddie Brock was a hero and all, but Mac Gargan is a total *** (Doom and Magneto have already teamed up with the good guys before to prevent their planet from blowing up, and Taskmaster isn't really all that evil). But at the same time there are five other bad guys in there so maybe this doesn't really makes sense... Oh well, I don't know. Venom. ):

Marvel are being total douchebags about who gets into the game, Capcom pretty much had to beg to get Shuma in as DLC. That might be a contributing factor.

It's pretty good, and we do get Phoenix Wright... as a cameo in She-Hulk's ending.
