Once the timer runs out, you're teleported to a really shitty maze with frequent Mike Patton encounters and when you reach the maze exit it says end of demo.

WOW that was pretty badly unique.... didn't understand the storyline AT ALL, and the mazes where ANNOYING AS HELL.

Keep it real!
Here is some tips :
-Berserk + Enrage = a good combo
-Save often.
-Read ALL signs.
-Talk to everyone.
-The storyline will show you where too go, so read careful.
-Go east at the beginning
-At the beginning, go to your inventory and use the Speed Boots.

Hey Drak, just to be sure, do you have RMVX? I know not many people have that on this forum, and the games I submitted to you were both VX games. If you can't play those, I definitely have an alternative for you.
YayFor rm2k and XP, the standard size your game displays is 640x480 pixels. On VX, however, I think it's 544x416 pixels.

Shinryu I played your game and it didn't spark any laughs, except when I totally MURDERED the final two bosses by using that "F**k it" item. It's crappy in THAT sense, however. :)

It's not supposed to be slow, it's supposed to be synched with the music somewhat but I guess the lag caused by whatever screen recording software you're using messes up the synchronization.
There should have been random encounters when using the ship.If that happened Drak would have probably quit playing early. :P
Now this one, despite the length, I got some kicks out of. The voice acting especially. I would have put voice acting my own game, but...I actually don't really like my voice that much. That's kind of why I envy the funny voice acting ones.

It's almost finished, I'm working on the last level, I'm just having trouble with the .AVI script :x. Needless to say, I need to use the .avi script to put a video into the game, but it always gives me a syntax error when I try to use it. I can load the game, but as soon as I trigger the event that activates the movie, it crashes.

Yeah when I put tags on my videos I put porn, smosh, free stuff, funny, lol, free running, hentai etc to get more views :DI wouldn't risk that. That'll increase the chance of pissed off users and 1-star ratings. :P I hate tags. There needs to be a better system to get your search results higher besides tags and promotion. Nobody is going to pay to get their video promoted, (mainly because nobody gives a **** about promoted vids :D) and tags just get in the way when you're anxious to upload a video and don't feel like thinking up a bunch of related words.

Yeah, there is already an RPG with a flying cat. It's called Lunal Legends for the GBA. It's a fun game, except that it's nearly impossible to die, even on purpose. If I remember correctly, there are about 4 different endings you can get.[/spoiler]

If I make another game (which is debatable), I'll attempt to make it more user friendly; I think the lack of the idea of where to go next made Appease Masamune quite annoying.

The craters with water in them heal you when you interact with them.
Save at the _beginning_ of every room in the volcano, there are a number of paths which exist solely to be retarded death traps and you can't backtrack in most of them.

My first entry, The Stupid Adventures of Joe, was absurd/funny but not particularly crappy at all, and he didn't have much reason to play through it for that. I know that Drak's okay with actually being featured in a game (although it's getting a little stale by now), but if it's riffing on his own work he won't like it (as his comment at the beginning of the Halo 4 review dictates)
I've been wondering about a few things, mostly about your standarts:
-What's the prefered crappy/funny ratio that you prefer for your reviews? I know you won't do outright spiteful games like Halo 4 but your reviews show you can do some really nasty stuff. So I'd like to know of any limits not to break.
-Likewise, I'd like to know the opposite. What limits do you want the games to break so you can properly review them as crappy games? Or should the games merely be absurd/funny enough for you to comment on them?
-What's your overall tolerance/preference regarding game difficulty? I know you can complete pretty hard games (Cliched Quest, which kills you spitefully I Wanna Be The Guy-style a lot and has some pretty nasty bosses at times) but I also know you've quit on a few games so your tolerance is also not limitless likewise. I'd like to know what exactly you'll sit through and what you won't. Or at least, pointers of what type of trick will make you quit and what type of trick won't.
-I know that adult-rated games are a no-no and that games involving you personally are likewise frowned upon. So what type of games do you avoid, apart from that?

1) Gem, if you don't like the videos, leave him alone and abscond from the thread. But you seem to be already doing that, so that's good.
2) Drak, off the ego. I don't want you to leave. I don't think anyone legitimately wants you to leave. But we're not going to beg you to stay and shower you with gifts that don't even exist in the first place to keep you. Do you really think anyone gets rewards around here? Do what you do, do it well, do it because you enjoy it, and do it for those reasons alone. Don't do it expecting to see some money in the mail or something. It ain't comin'. 3) Ben's saying his piece isn't any reason for anyone else to be throwing insults around. That stops right here and now. Nobody insults my staff. Insult me, call me names, question my gender, whatever floats your boat. But not the rest of the staff. They do damn fine work keeping this place running with only the slimmest bit of tools and support. I'm not going to let things degenerate into name calling of them.

#1 I would totally do SaiKar, she's pretty hot. The character not the dude behind her >,< lol (Yes, I know you're a guy.)
#2 I know I can get a little edgy about ****. I'm really defensive when I put in god only knows how many hours into these videos. 250 x 5 to minutes each video. That's a lot of stuff. Also, I know the fans put a lot into them as well creating them.
#3 Humor comes in different colors. Some people don't find things funny that others do. I personally love chaos and it's greatly humorous to me. These games for the most part are full of chaos. You really have to appreciate that to enjoy them or the raunchy things I say.
#4 The winners of the contest are Final Fantasy 7 first place from FFL2&3ROCKS. Second place goes to Zuhane's Gulpy Gulpy and 3rd place goes to Jacob's cliche quest.

You're taking this way out of context. I never said I hated you and neither did anyone else. It's called criticism. We get you put a lot of work into this. You do it 'cuz you like it. ALL OF US HERE, do **** we love that takes a lot of our personal time and energy. We understand that. But to say we're trolling you or even that we envy you? I don't even know what to say to that. I like your videos, Drak. I was merely saying they're getting stale. What the **** is so hard to accept about that?
And don't respond to that if you're just going to continue to whine. 'Cuz I really don't care to read the pity posts anymore. I don't think anyone ever meant to slight you and if they did, they didn't mean it.

Drak I know you're feeling under appreciated, and I understand what you're saying but to be fair, I feel like we all keep the forum active and busy...and we all contribute in our own way. You've brought a lot of traffic here and that's great. :) It's a way of contributing. But we all contribute- Lucas has his art, Val has her comics, you have your videos, Freddie sprites, Archem has his pure awesomeness... And all that is great, it's what makes Charas Charas. But part of what's so great about this forum is that it's made up of so many different parts and not one part is really more important than the other. Not to say that the parts aren't important- just that they're all integral to the flavour of the place. We all like appreciation and there's nothing better than when people enjoy of the things we put our heart and our soul into- but the life of an artist or an entertainer is often that you have to be content with just that. Rewards or other things are just a bonus if they happen to happen. So if you want to continue (and I know people enjoy your videos) keep doing it for yourself and for them, and know that you are recognized and appreciated. But that recognition and appreciation isn't exclusively yours- it spans across every contributor.

I'm not going anywhere. I am however going to think about the videos in a whole now and see what I can do to livin the games coming through.. What I actually might do is cancel the "build me a game to review" and start choosing stuff that's already been made and released as a "good game" and do some stuff that way. It wouldn't be so predictable that way. More-so.. Uh.. oh.. somebody suggested your game was tossed to the orange eyed demon.
