Title: Not a Great Day
Post by: Weregnome on January 07, 2007, 04:27:56 AM
You know how there are medical probelsm at work every once and a while, but nothing really bad? Well, that didn't occur yesterday. The accident was freaking bad... I still can see it. *shudders* Us grocery boys (Shannon, Scott, Matt and Me) were in the warehouse when the call was made. We rushed out and my boss panically ordered us to get towles, he called the ambo. Shanon and me bolted out into the store with towels. At the seen, all we saw was a woman in a pool of blood. She had a fit (most likely due to the hugh heat and humidity over the past few days) and had fallen over, cracking her skull. Scott and me directed people away and soke to witnesses, My boss helped the woman, Shannon had to look after her 6 year old daughter (poor girl) and Matt looked out for the ambo and cleaned the mess up.

I drunk a bit of alcohol yesterday.. I haven't seen **** like that before.. it really freaked me out

I had someone die at work once.. this fat guy two desks infront of me had a heart attack when he was getting yelled at by some customer.. he stood up, and fell to the ground. It sucked. Then I went home and sacrificed a goat to bring him back.. he was all goaty from that day on.. kind of shite to work with.. always chewing on that tin can.
edit: Seriously though, he's dead.

Although the traditional thing to do would feel bad, I'm a bit of a twisted individual. I'll say that the event is terrible, but such a traumatic event would leave me in an ecstatic fit of unnatural happiness. Not the violence of the situation, but the unbearable mental pain gives me a high like no other... Before the obvious cry of "emo" flies my way, let me say this: I don't enjoy physical pain, nor am I talking about pain of my own. I enjoy the suffering of others.

Mebe it would have been better left as "damn, that sucks", huh?

Archem: Although it's not emo, it's close enough to, "If that's humor, it's not funny, and if it's not humor, then I severely dislike, but do not yet truly hate, you." to be bad.

Peons: I've never seen some bleed profusely from anything that required a hospital visit (Except for when my dad beaned himself in the face with a golf ball and was streaming blood from his forehead, but even then it was more of a "BWAHAHAHAHAHA, how the HELL did you get that golf ball to hit that forehead that fast?" [He was using a club to help aim his shots straighter, was tearing up the grass on one side, and moved to the club side without turning it around so that the ball ricocheted off of the club head into his face]), but I have seen a few people overdose, and it's not pretty. Sometimes they twitch and shake like crazy, sometimes they just lie there with a horrified look on their face but can't do anything - it's more creepy-scary than gory-scary.

Jesus christ. I don't think I could have handled as well as you if someone I knew had died at work.

No, it's the truth. And it truly bothers me that I feel this way about such things, but in the long run, I think it's one of my less serious mental blisters. I seriously need to look into professional help, or, at least that's what a lot of my friends tell me.

I laugh at times like that.
It's not that I find it funny, but panic is really funny to watch. Like, people running from a giant cloud of smoke coming from the World Trade Center. I laughed..
Anyways..

im badass

idolize me.

Well ****. That was not expected.

Uh but if it's any consolation, at least you're not like, in the war. Cause then you'd really be fucked up.

Oh and Moose, I lol'd at your dad.

Nasty. I haven't seen anything like that. I don't know how I'd react.

And Archem, that's creepy. I doubt you'd make that crap up to look cool.

I agree, it is creepy... I wish I was making it up... Then I wouldn't feel so bad after feeling so good for hours at a time...

The worst I ever saw was a kid get a seizure in class last school year. I was relatively calm, and dashed off for the Special Education teacher.

He didn't wet himself, thank God, or foam at the mouth. He just started twitching and shaking with his eyes almost rolling into his head.
He's okay, though.

The worst thing I have ever seen was a kid play with scizzors. He was holding them up to his mouth and they were pretty sharp. He kept opening and closing them just enough not to cut himself, but then someone bumped him from behind. He ended up cutting part of his lip and nose off. **** running with scizzors. Just leave them alone.

Same with me. when my grandma died I felt no remore but at the same time I didnt feel happy either just emotionless. Both times I felt nothing. I still feel anger though. And I do resist pain (all forms physical, emotional, psychological), still I don't like it.

bad days hmm...

Too many to pick one.

Then again I was 10-12 when my grandma died. That may had something to do with it.

Yer my m8 really didn't enjoy doing it. He had to wear alot of safety gear whilst cleaning up the blood on the floor and the bloody towels that were used.
