If it's a laptop:
Rip of all of the keys.
Take a soft bristle vacuum brush and vacuum.
Put all of the keys back on.
Done!

If not:
...well, ****, I don't know what to do.

It's easier on a non laptop, keys come off easilier and are easier to place back in.

You can always copy paste a space, just in case.          < Grab one.

People can say all they want, but whacking any electronic devices or such actually DOES repair it some times... but only some times.

Percussive maintenance is definitely a thing.
Usually only things with loose parts, though.

Oh trust me, I smashed that thing to kingdom come.

Decided to buckle down and buy a new one. It came with a hilarious diagram of how to plug in a USB cord, I guess for people like my mom.

You need to get it out of the box and stuff, first. Plugging it is like the 15th step.

Don't forget picking it up. Man, I had to have a tech squad come out just so I could figure out that difficult step.
