Title: Link with fiction characters...
Post by: Almeidaboo on January 26, 2005, 01:10:48 AM
I know thisīll get me a bunch of "FREAK!" or "WEIRDO!", but i got ppl that feel the same...

I know when a RPG i really good when the end is coming and I kinda stop playing it...not totally, but I play less often. Cuz I know that when it ends iīll "miss all the guys". Like FF7, how could that end? Itīs pretty sad, and it gets me sad. Thatīs when the rpg music come: I listen to it to remember. Itīs a huge mix of nostalgia and happiness lol.

Thatīs kinda why iīm into RPG more than books...theyīre almost the same, but RPGs touch me more...

Un-spamming: what about you charas ppl?

I conquor nostalgia by immortalizing my game characters.... BY MERCILESSLY DEFYING THEIR PERSONAL RIGHTS AND RIPPING THEIR SOUL FROM THE GAME FOR USE IN MY OWN, PERVERSE DESIRES!!!!!!

I believe you call it sprite ripping?

that's not weird. When i read a book, I can relate to some characters, and they almost become real. If one of them dies then that's what makes it sad. Because they're gone, and it seems real. RPGs are the same way in a sense.

Suikoden 2 was one of the toughest! First because of the quantity of characters, second cuz itīs an perfet RPG, with a perfect gameplay and storyline...

Nah, I get like that too. Like during Chrono Trigger, when all the cast goes into the portal back to their own times, I was like "No! Wait! We can still fight some monsters! Come back!" Wah!  :(

lol At least, you can change the story by finishin another of the 12 endings. I couldnt because my -censored- mem. card broke, now I have to start all again!

And I know one way to dont be sad after finish suikoden 2 and others rpgs: A little thing called "reset button"

Final Fantasy Tactics at the end when it shows the gravesite... saddyness. That was probably the only thing close to an 'emotional' part of a video game I've played.

This happens to me when I read 2000+ page books.

Uhhhh..... 2000 pages?
Like, the Iliad? Or... the Bible?

I'm into fantasy books, if that clears it up. Either that or a whole series combined. (I read 3 - 10+ hours a day)

It has about three cool movies: the intro, the scene where Frog splits the cliff, and the Ocean Palace one. The rest where somewhat disapointing and a few pretty key events got left out.

I get that feeling too, but I like it. It's sad but satisfying.

I thought it was funny at the end of FF10. Hehe, Yuna falls over.
Everything they tried to do with that game failed.
