Title: whos the best spriter ever?!

and theyre all great, but everyone knows, theres always...
the leader above leader thing, so i tought this up,
now...what spriter do you think is the best spriter ever?
oh and spriters cannot vote themselves! XD
anyways my opinion is :

XJERICHO!! he rocks, he is just, one of the best,
no...hes the best spriter around charas, :D, lol, what i think...lol

anyways...whats your oppinion?
and who do you think is the best spriter?:D

xJericho is very good with battle characters(sprite version) i learned from what he does/did

EDIT: Saikar for RTP battlechars (warxe reminded me)

Ghostclown is very good with charsets and im on tha character creator team with him along with other people who also have talent!!

facesets...everyone has facemakerpl now so idk lol

nice choice Ace of Spades!! lol

Facesets: No one really does facesets anymore, so I can't say.

BChars: Sai'Kar (RTP), xJericho/InsaneJP (Spritesized)

You have about the most truest statement made in the whole thread.
with 900+ things made, he's like one of the guys who has shaped up charas generators to it's current state, along with everyone else of course.

Yeah, I thing a sprite-off would be an awesome idea! There hasn't been a proper Charas contest since before I joined. We should split it into categories, though.

I used to do a lot of spriting, but now all my work is on rmxp, so I can't show any of it here :P

And I agree with Leon_1990 about the novce, intermidiate, and advanced idea, I also think that doing it by sprites, charsets, monsters, Bchars, ect. is a good idea, since some can make sprites, but cant make charsets at all, or make good Bchars, but bad monsters.

Post by: InsaneJP on June 01, 2005, 07:13:25 PM: a sprite off sounds interesting but a lil bit just lil more practice for us spriters because like dragon blaze said everyone has their own style so its obviously gunna be hard to choose the best one plus if there is going to be a sprite off you need to ask all the people you want to be in it first anyways
