Title: Problems with Anvil Studio.
Post by: WarxePB on April 14, 2005, 02:24:04 AM
Not sure where to put this...

Anyways, I'm having problems with Anvil Studio. It plays fine, and it lets me insert notes, but it will not play the notes I have inserted. For example, if I create a new track, and insert a note onto it, it won't play. But if I paste a note that was already in another track, it will work.
I've tried playing it in other music players, but it doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling Anvil studio, but it does the same thing. I've tried other MIDI makers, but they're not as good as Anvil Studio. Can anyone help?

Is the "Lock Score" button on? If it is, then you can listen to the note, but it won't be in the track.

No, I've chcked that Lock Score is not on, and it still doesn't work.

I'm going to attach a test MIDI, and I want you to tell me if it plays on your computer.

BTW, BIA, what you just did it tehnically 'spam'. Don't do it again.

It doesn't? That's really weird.

I tried it as well. It has a time and such like a real midi would, just no sound. That IS weird.

btw: You said that you tried different midi programs. Did you try NoteWorthy Composer? Because I heard that one is pretty good also.

Well, I've got it working, but the effects I insert are much quieter than ones in other songs. Any suggestions?

BTW, this is another test.

Well, that one works. Glad you got it fixed, but sorry, I don't really know much about it, so I can't help with the next problem you're having...

the first one that wouildnt play, its becuase the volume was set to low on the note. Right clock the note and go to properties, and you'll see the volume of the note is "1" it should be like "25" and effects...i dunno maybe the same problem, check your settings.
