Title: Return of the Acroylte

THis is the story for my game, Return of the Acrolyte, the charecters, and the features.

Story: Every 5 years, worriors are made from scrach, to be sent on a voyage to the city of Sabetha. THe first one to pass the trials of all the sacred towers, and reach to Sabetha, will become an Acrolyte. When Lord Quail returns to his home town of Anturuk as an Acrolyte, he brings a strange vibe with him. Janar, the hero, is pulled into a protal and is sent to the other side of the world. He'll meet Jocko, Vanessa, Bear, and alue, an Acrolyte in training. when he realizes that Quail cheated his wayt into the voyage, the search for the rouge acroylte is on.
     Janar joins alue and her friends on her voyage, hopeing to find Quail, and return to Anturuk.

Class: Gunner
Weapon of Choice: Guns
Home Lands: Pi Biral

Features:

- Charecter Switching
- Acrol Tower MiniGames( Align bells on the many flores to play the city's song, gain access to secrets in the city)
- Level up skills (so-old its new)
- Power up bells
- One time random encounters (find a secret spot in open fields were a strong, rare monster will apear, defeat it and get some cool stuff)

I'm gonna ad some different details to the owers later, like an Earth symbol and a fire symbol, ect. Also, thier will be some bosses before you get to the roof.

Ok...the story sounds ok, however, no offense, but it doesn't "look" good. Right now, no offense once again, but your maps suck. You've really got to work on your mapping. The first one is supposed to be some kind of temple right? Well, the way you used that chipset, it's like, a poorly made cliff with a blue door, grass, and rocks on it. Sorry, but the blue door, blue flags and golden thingys don't fit well with it. Find a good temple chip, and also, play some well rated games that have a good rating for maps and graphics, so that you can get an idea on how to use chipsets the right way, and make your maps look better. I'm not trying to criticize your game, in fact, the story is pretty good. You do have to work on your mapping though, big time. Remember, I'm not saying the game is bad, I'm just trying to help you out in making maps look better. The way I learned, is playing other games that had good graphics. Also, playing real games, such as Treasure of the Rudras, Chrono Trigger, SoM, that sorta thing. It'll take time, but if you work hard at it, you'll get better.

the rocks, grass, and yellow things make them look diferent, this is the earth temple, it also is just a work in progress, its not a temple to be exact, but a tower, they will look beter, this is just the first version.

Edit: and not that i don't apritiate advice, don't make me sound like i'm a noob, i've been useing rm2k3 for scicne it came out, and over the time i've learned a few neat tricks, i may be new to charas, but i'm no game making dummy.

And I'm sure Ace meant no offence. It's hard to give constructive critism without it coming off as bashing, eh? XD I have to agree that the first shot looks kind of...weird...but I'm sure you're not done with it. Looking forwards to the finished map.

Please work on your spelling... if what you've typed here in the forum is anything like the spelling in your game, people won't think too highly of it.  If english is not your native language, then there are people around here, myself included, who are willing to help clean it up.

i was recomended this site because it had an online charset generater. Thats the entire point to the site. Isn't it? I've only been here a few days, but come on...plus i suck at pixle art.

 Well, if no one uses, it, then thers no point to have a charas generator.
