Okay, after getting my comp back from the shop and starting work on my game, I realized that alot of the features I'd like to implement are beyond my skills. So here's the question: should I go ahead and make the game as Ver.1 with the lack of features and make a Ver.2 when I'm good enough to? Or put it aside and start working on another until I can do what I want to it? I'd also like to know if that's ever actually worked.

maybey.... or you could just take forever to make the full version of the game.

just write down your ideas and just work on gettin the skills needed until later, no point in makin two versions when one will just kill the other one, waste of time. Just spend your time working on what you need to learn.
