Title: Help wanted

I search a person, who managed the update-resource-thing.

So what must he do:

* Find persons, who import resources.
* Collect all the resources for Charas.Ex and
* Create offical update-Files.

Also note:
* This take much time!
* Smaller Update-Files can be published by the forums-software, but a private webspace is needed for bigger files!
* You don't need to know, how to program, but you should work with Charas.EX, you should import resources, and so on.

When you want to do this, please write here and a small sentence, why you not somebody else.

I think that I can make this.

I'm working very often with Charas.EX (because the programm is perfect). I've a lot of fun by making Computerwork (mostly RPG's).

Sry for my bad Englisch...

Ich würde so etwas machen.

Ich arbeite sehr oft mit Charas.EX (Es ist einfach ein Super-Prog).
Ich arbeite sehr gerne am PC, hauptsächlich an RPG's.

New Sections should be no problem. Simple a new directory and ready.

About the sort. At the moment all resources are renamed to a german name, so they are alphabetic sorted. But so it would be usefull, when the person who do this can speak german, but it is not realy necassary. But the person should rename all the resources, so that the alphabetic order is correct. In the online-Version the resources are not really sorted, in offline they are.

No problem. Charas.EX can handle languages and more than one manual. (in the manual is a paragraph of this)


btw: The person should understand english. It must not be perfekt, but he/she should understand the most here.

Don't say sorry, that you don't speak english perfekt. Which person here do this (and the motherlanguage is not english).
(Nochmal auf Deutsch: Wer kann hier schon perfekt englisch. Wenn jeder immer Sorry sagen würde, wäre die Foren zu 99% nur mit Entschuldigen voll. Solange man versteht, was gemeint ist (und das ist in Deutschen auch nicht unbedingt einfacher), ist alles in Ordnung).

I think I could do this.
I already imported ressources for charas.ex
I speak german and understand how to name the files.
I know how to make updates, new categories, languages and so on.

but I think that not just one person should do that but 2 or 3 people because its really much work and with 2 or 3 persons theres everytime somebody who makes updates eg when somebody is in holiday the other/s can make new updates.
but i would do this also when i were the onliest one.

Umm, if you would Like, I could do that for you. I have just found this program, and think there should be more resources. Send me some to my email, and I will update every two weeks. I choose two weeks so that the updates may be big, not small. So if someone would point me to download links of those off the online one or anything else, I will begin. I hve already started with one for myself, which has Ancient Greek People. That will be done by the end of the week. So please send any stuff to my email. I might rip stuff out of full charsets, but that will take a lot more time, so I will only do that if there is a great demand for that resource (Ie, monster heads)

Sorry for kicking this topic, but I want to get to work.

Expect an update within a week of monsters and other things at my discretion

I have a small webspace and can make updates available for download with the same URL (I write PHP so I can easily maintain a list of mirrors).
I work with GM a lot and recently found Charas.EX, it's gained a lot of praise in the game making community and I'd like to help out in any way possible.
