Which books and authors are your favourites? I mainly read fantasy but I have read a few others.

Havent read that one, but ive heard alot about that Dan Brown guy. Better get a hold of it and read. One of my friends read another book of his, The davinci code. He seemed to like it.

Myself I prefer anything written by Chris Wooding, he has made fantasies and young adult books. I have all the books he has released except one, im going to buy it soon. I have also read the first and second of a fantasy trilogy written by Robert Newcomb. Good stuff xD

Sure are, Ive only got the first one though. My absolute favorites are
Chris Woodings "Kerosene" and his three part fantasy trilogy which isnt complete yet. "The Weavers of Saramyr" and the second, "The Skein of Lament"

"Kerosene" is a brilliant short book about a 16 year old kid, when he feels pissed of or something like that, he lights a match. Nothing like watching the soothing fire. After a while it gets a little out of hand.

(The first book in the trilogy came -03, second -04 and the third will either be out this year or next)

Me, eh, I prefer Sci-Fi or fantasy. My favorite book would have to be "The World Jones Made" by Philip K. Dick. It's a really good
Sci-Fi book.

Damn straight!
Since last christmas I've read the first three books, and now I'm halfway through the fourth. Excellent books IMO.
I've also read Pendragon (all 4) and I read the Acorna series a while ago (I read the first 6, but I think I saw a 7th somewhere, I'm not sure though...). I've read the Glasswrights series and Redwall. Both good.
All in all though I would reccommend Robert Jordon's Wheel of Time series. Start of course with his first, the Eye of the World, and work your way up. I'm sure this series will entertain you.

Most people neglect the classics. The Lost World, Journey to the center of the Earth, Robinson Crusoe, The Silver sword and such were really great books. But 'Northern Lights' was probably one of my favourite books.

Hahahaha! Good one..

Might I reccomend "Cannibal" by ... I forget the author ... and I've mysteriously lost my book ... but it was damn good, trust me, AND it was non-fiction.

I read fantasy books and war books, I mean non-fiction ones. I love Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar Saga. I finished his Krondor series a few days back and his collab book with Steve Sterling, Jimmy the Hand. Both are good. At the moment I'm reading Guenevere... but I can't find the book to say the author. Its ok. My fav war book tho was Gallipoli by Les Carlyon. It has everything u need to know and is a stunning read.

Most definately Dune by Frank Herbert. Best saga ever, although the first wheel of time was pretty good.
