I admit, when it comes really to Ripping or creating Sets of any type I'm a Noob.. If it wasnt for the spiffy Generator *Thanks BTW* i wouldnt be able to make character Or face sets. So how does one go about Rippin a set??? If ya answer i'll be your bestest bestest friend.. Well maybe maybe not ^_^

Do you mean ripping from games or from work already done?

For character sets:
When you see the sprite you want to rip, you'll need all 12 poses. When you see the first pose, push Print Screen, then go into a Paint program and paste. Put it in the correct frame. Do this for all 12 poses.
Some emulators have a screenshot feature, so it may be best to use that instead of Print Screen. Your emulator may also have a feature that can disable layers, which will make ripping a lot easier. So disable the correct layers and take a screenshot. Put the sprite in the correct frame, and repeat for all of the other poses.
For face sets:
This is easy. When you see a face you want to rip, take a screenshot/push Print Screen (whichever one works best for you), and put it into a face set box.

Oh thank you thank you... Yous guys wouldnt happen to know how to make a Chipset now would you? Heh Anyway thanks for the answers i can do that.. if only i can get my controller working....

Chipsets:
Just find a pic you wont and take a screenshot. Then paste it into a paint thingy. Copy the tile/object and past it into the chipset template! Do this for the whole thing!(this is esay, just get a room in the game with a lot of objects, thats like 12 in 1 screenshot!)

all you can use animget, which supposely takes screenshots and animates the moves of characters, useful, google it if you like. :bend:
