Here's some ways to prevent picture lagging.
-BEFORE THE "SHOW PICTURE" EVENT, PUT IN A "WAIT: 0.1 SECOND". (works best for paralelle process events)
-Don't use 320x240 images for proper placement.
-Don't make pictures that are constantly moving.
-Don't make GIGANTIC maps with LOTS of events.
Since this isn't really much of a tutorial, I guess I can throw in that presing F4 during test play makes the screen bigger, and pressing F5 makes it smaller. Hope it helps.
