Title: A question for ToS players and freaks.

Ok... I've told Kijuki about this problem a couple of months back. Well, I originally thought it was a thing with the disk, since I rented it and all. But now I own the game and the problem still occurs. (Do not read on if you have the game but have not gotten to at least Welgaia)



Ok, after I get the Material Blade and Kratos back in my party, Kratos will no longer use Techs, unless he is healing somebody. I find this annoying as hell and a problem. The problem I have with it is that I could be killing enemies faster if he would use his Techs, but all he does is attack normally. The funny part is I have no Techs disabled, no equipment to curse him, and no status effects placed on him. His Strat is set to do everything freely. I have no clue what the hell s going on. It's becoming a pain in the butt. So, if anyone has a solution to this, please let me know.

The same thing happened with me...
Try changing his strat.

I cant remember what its name is, but one that makes kratos attack all of the time, he started using his techs agen ^^

You might need to change titles o.0 I dunno, I never kep hanged on too one style XP, also I am not sure, but isn't there an intelligence stat on the game? *goes and checks* yep. Try to keep that high I guess o.0

I found the solution to the problem. I had the EX Skill "Slasher" on Kratos, causing him to do 6 slashes. In the description it says that you cannot link a Tech after the 4th. That's why he wouldn't use any skills.

I finished with Lloyd at 73. Colette was the lowest at 70.

the A.I. is made thatr if you use techs the comp wont use any so that it wont mess up ur combo. its really annoying beleive me i own it too.a tip is to let the comp do theres then u start urs and theyll start again if ur lucky. strat really doesnt help

Lloyd is at level 81 4 me ;)
i levelled up in the Underworld :P

the strats helped me...
especially when fighting abyssion...

ummm, go 2 sybak then examine the strange book in the library, then go to Heimdall and speak to an elf on the second screen,
THEN go back to the book :P
