Title: Crescent
Post by: papercup on June 24, 2005, 04:46:22 AM
Ok it's called Crescent, it's about this brother and sister who live in a country shaped like a Crescent Moon. They meat this mysterious Ninja woman from 22,000 years in the future. She goes back in time to stop this man name Sesera from turning the country Crescent into the moon. The Dragons that give power to the Earth are trapped in the moon, and without their power, the Earth will die. So you have to go around and free the Dragons, and stop Sesera from creating the Moon.

As of character names, and Bios and stuff I nary a clue.

Okay. No moon? I like the moon. Srry for sounding dumb. Hmm. I give this game idea a 6/10. No one probably cares but oh well i'm not into that dragon thing and all that. I think i'm being pretty nice.

22,000 years? That seems like a bit much to me. @_@

What is Sesera's motive? Why does he want to turn Crescent into the moon? It won't be a very good game if he's basically just "I'm evil, fear me! Mwahaha!"

Ok my bro just told me why he's doing it. He thinks that since the world keeps changing, there's something wrong with Earth. He figures out how to create a Moon, so he's trying to save the Earth with the moon, but what he doesn't realize is he's actually destroying it.

Yeah that sux when you have an awesome idea, then you play an old classic game, and discover that idea was already used, and you yourself using it would be cliche...

Anyway, I'm not really for the 'going out and searching for...' part. Thats the old Nintendo style type of game. I find that most of the time these types of games have very slow stories while going out and searching for the whatever.

But thats just what I experianced with other games, yours may be differant. Bahamut Lagoon had you searching out for dragons, but it was still one of my favorite games :) So good luck, and have fun making this game ;)

I hate that, "Villian tries to save world but is really destroying it". It's THE most annoying RPG cliche to me.
