Title: Moderators (not forum ones) suck

Let me explain. For my 1st sememster I didn't do all too gr8 in art. Thats not what pisses me off, cos I know my stuff will be completed at the end of the year. What pissed me off was that she wrote "lack of good drawing skill- fluidity character" Of course I find out from my actual teachers she was talking about the sketch-like back up drawings. Yes I know one had proportion probles, that's cos my drawing had improved after piece 1. That comment though I figured was a lil harsh!

I have an interesting thing about dali though. he did random stuff just to do it, not for any real reason..which kinda takes away the art of art. Thats why dalis looked down upon, cuase he made stuff look like a vigina just to make it look like a vagina....so no interpretaiton of expression. Now picassooooo there you go, alota people HATED him, but face it he was a master at the abstract. What it comes down to is, not whos "better" but who expresses themselves the most ^_-

Dude, the important thing is you understand what needs to be improved. I gotta say you're one of 5% of people I've met online who actually accepted criticism on their art and applied it. If you can do that you're already a better artist than those that get their panties in a wad when you say you don't like it. I say screw her.

It just really frustrated is all...

I mean I don't mind critiquing, cos u learnt o inprove that way. I felt she was alil harsh.

Carmen has a very good point. One aspect I've learnt through art was that as much as the actual art is important, the message or aspect of meaning is as important or more so.
