Title: RPG Maker 2003 Questions

I have RPG maker 2003... but I'm stuck. I want the ground to collapse in a certain area, but I don't know how. Is there a trigger or event that I can use to change an area of the ground? I need help.. does anyone have any ideas?

Also, one other thing.  Is there a way to copyright your game?  I was thinking of getting someone to go through a game that I have been working on, but I'm afraid that maybe they will steal it..  What should I do?

In responce to your second question, give it to someone you can trust. There's no way to copywrite it as such, because anything you put in there can be taken out again.

For your tile thing I'd try just setting events to the tile and making it so that on hero touch the event changes to a pink (unseeable) square and your hero falls.
