Hello I am new to these forums but enough of that..I need help making a good RPG cause I suck. I try time and time again but I end up deleting the idea and start over rinse lather repeat. I'm not good at making monsters a story good lead characters and such so can anybody help me. I'll accept help fom anyone as long as it actually is helpful.

First I want to have an operational Zelda type battle systemonce I have that I can move on. Do you know hwo to make one? I can't do variables and switches that well maybe you can.

I think the most important part is too teach the switches, variables and forks BEFORE doing any kind of ABC. Active battle system as in Zelda games.

Can one of you teach me how to make switches err...nevermind I'll look in the tutorials first.

A switch is sooo easy too learn. A variable is alittle harder though in the beginning. YES check the tutorial cestion. Or go too www.gamingw.com They have som awesome tutorials mate.

So true. But once you learn switches, variables, and forks you can make stuff like banks, good minigames, cms, cbs, party follow system, and just about everything else you can do with rpgmaker. So learn away my friend :D

Party follow system. Thats not coding if you want a non laggy one though :P. You can downlaod a system which you have too put in your RM2K(3). Ace gave me that one and i will use it. Its called "Caterpillar system"

Nah not the one i have. That Ace gave me. No lagging, no "trapping". They just slip through the hero etc. Its cool.

Okay I'll try to learn so far I know switches variables not so sure the only thing I can think I can make is a membership system like the one in Zelda wind waker no cbs cms and stuff like that. I'm not to clear on forks but Im still looking for a tutorial.
