Post by: Pythis on July 20, 2005, 11:16:08 PM: I haven't gotten ANYTHING done but create a story so here it is.

As the world of Tyrice began to prosper among the guidence of the gods, The elements we're created. There we're elements of Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Light and Darkness. Each god ruled over an element, but one day that all changed. A man named Pythiros created the 'Element Stones' and drained the power of the gods into each stone tablet. The gods we're powerless and the people seemed to lose faith in this new mysterious world that the gods created. but then again the gods created the people as well. Pythiros embedded a stone into six shrines each representing an element. The army of Relseport was sent out by the gods to destroy the stones but there efforts we're futile. Pythiros was much stronger than any public human and now any god..which left a question was HE a god? He could harness the power of the stones anytime and become all powerful yet he didn't and another question arose from the people. Maybe one of them could destroy the stones and gain that power. The people forgot about thier gods and thought, THEY can be gods. However the gods weren't completely powerless above the mortals called humans. Spark the lighting god smit the human's towns
and villages to show them they are wrong. As the destruction waved through the world a boy seemed to be an influence to the world. This boy went through the world to destroy the stones not forhimself, but for the gods. If the gods can't die and had all there power back Pythiros can't do a thing. The boy was able to destroy the element stones and regenerate the god's power! After 20 long years of suffering it was over. Celebration went all around but signs of the gods we're undetected Heh even the boy guesses a god needs to kick back sometimes too.

Main character:
Name: Destin
Age: 12
Description: Destin has messy black hair and has deep grey eyes that are peculiar for his race. He usually wears a white Tank top and has light skin and has a scar on his right eye. He wears blue shorts too. He isn't very tall about 4"3 is his hieght. He wighs 95 pounds and wears brown sandals.
Personality: Destin is a lazy boy. He doesen't care for studying but he is very smart it's just that not many know it. He is kind to all that he meets but is hot headed. If he is insulted he won't let you go without yelling back at you. Other than that he is a nice friend and would do anything for his friends. He's a good person.
Likes: Food, Sleep, Games
Dislikes: Work

I'm trying to make an ABS but it isn't gonna go well I know it I trying to learn variables branches and switches still I don't know much.

As for your actual story, its hard to say. It sounds like it could be cliche, or it could be good, it depends on how you go with it.

Why? Screw what everybody else says! It's YOUR game, you want the main character to be 12 then make him 12! Don't listen to everybody else! Geez.

Name: Pythiros
Age: 36
Weapon style: Dual Swords
Abilities: Pythiros has the ability to crush the mind of almost any creature with an IQ lower than his own. He chooses not to use it because he thinks most people aren't worth it.
Element: Dark
Description: Pythiros has messy blonde hair and light skin. He has green eyes and a rough face. He wears a blue longcoat covering his body. Strapped to him, are two sheathes on his back both handles are made out of wood and contain swords. He is quiet, calm and he is tall too 7"1 He knows magic as well as the art of dual swords so he is a force to be reckoned with.
Personality: Pythiros doesen't care much about anything. He is calm and quiet and he doesen't like people this is mainly why he wants to destroy him. Pythiros used to be a good hearted soul but when the kinds mages destroy everything he ever loved he lost all hope in people.

EDIT: I'm working on the first town. But you may not like it.

Then it's okay, it does not have to be 'True Evil' good. ...Okay, bad example, It dosn't have to be 'Robotam' good (Much better), my first game had the crappiest maps in the world but I still made it! It's about 3 minutes long tohugh... Anyway, you get my point don't you?

BTW: The maps look good! ;) But they are a little big and sort of empty.

Sweet! You got Neverwinter nights and KOTOR on your desktop! You rule!!!

In the year 900, a year of corruption in Earth. Attacks have been recored all over the world. Scientists think that something has planted a bomb in the core of the Earth and the earth is set to implode in a few years. This was an outrage to the citizens of Earth all around the world. Until everyone found out it was a lie there were no bombs and the attacks were lead by the mayor of the world. The mayor had command over the army with this power he lead the armies out into the world and started slaughtering humans every last one and he didn't even care. He seemed like the ultimate killing machine. People of the town of Trelik deemed this new evil mayor Pythiros in thier language it means God and some people believed it were true. But like out of the blue a man by the name of Erik decided to take on Pythiros's riegn and he suceeded! Perhaps the infinite going wave of death had stopped..or had it been delayed just to have a greater evil rise to the stand.

The boxes make the text easier to read.

Oh, and for a storyline, you should really do this part yourself, but i'll give a hint, too many cliches = angry charas members. And steer away from any type of fan game residue... far far away.

Anyway, the screens are looking great Pythis! Keep it up ;) !!!

If theres anything I can do for ya' just ask.
