Title: March of the Penguins
Post by: Ace of Spades on July 23, 2005, 08:42:38 PM
Has anyone else seen the previews for this upcoming movie? I have. The little time that I take to watch TV, it doesn't matter what I'm watching, this preview will be in the commercials. And all I have to say is "What. The. Crap." A movie about penguins that walk around?! How do critics give that a "two thumbs up!" ?! o_O Seriously, what is this, a world wide joke?! It's gotta be, it's just gotta be one.

Huh, it reminds me of that disney movie "Dinosaur" and one of those documenties on the animal planet.

Movie producers are going downhill, they'll practicly give good ratings to anything anymore.

Originality is at an all-time low.

W...T...F? Penguins? A powerful film? :D  I think my brain just paratrooped out the back of my head.

Oh BTW, I'm new.

But I do know NEVER to use the gun smileys.

Edit: @Darkfox: EXCEPT the lord of the rings! It's a freakin' A- on Yahoo Movies (The two towers anyway)! WTF? 5 stars for the penguins, and 4.5 for LOTR. Great.
Title:
Post by: Darkfox on July 23, 2005, 10:10:37 PM
LOTR 4.5 and Penguins 5? Ok, that is just sick...

Matthew Perry was Jay Lenno a few nights ago, and they both said it was really good. And I heard something about Morgan Freeman narrating it.. I dunno.

I have no idea.  Maybe the title is just misleading.  Maybe some of the penguins pull out machine guns and pwn the rest of them.  Who knows?

I'd have to go see it just for that scene.

well it sounds quite good. If it is a documentary I'll probably go see it when it comes to Aus. I love documentaries, so much better than alot of TV.

Anyways I HATE the idea of this crapy excuse for a movie! :frag: (me)  :D (Movie Critic)

Documentries? Oh man... the world's strongest tranquilizer...

Especially on penguins, snoresville, already heard/seen all I wanna of penguins last night... boring animals, they really didn't want to waste time on their habits and such.

The world's creativity is losing serious steam, sombody needs to boil the water.

Penguin movie gets better ratings than LOTR?  No.  Just, no.

Hey, Documentaries do not suck.

Documentaries on wild (big) cats and wolves and foxes are cool. because you can learn things you never really cared about about your favourite animal! and when they are killing the prey, ahh, good times.

however, documentaries on THE AMAZING WORLD OF THE TERMITE calls for a visit to the Comedy Channel. Or Fox 8! Or TV1. God I wish I had Foxtel again.
Title:
Post by: Drace on July 24, 2005, 11:32:30 AM
Yeah, documenteries with big cats and other violent killing machines are nice to watch. Especially when the kill some creature and all the blood spits in their face.

Oh yes. Glorious. Hunt or be hunted! Whahaha!

What a load of garbage. It's because of an animal's killer instincts that I have to make a big decision. In any case, penguins, I do laugh.

Lol, what Darkfox?

Animals kill for food.
Humans kill for insanity, stupidity, numerous things.

Animals kill for food.

Not always the case. Somtimes they kill, just for the heck of it with no intention to eat. And an animal who kills this way is one of the most dangerous of beasts. And usually, it's a pet, not a wild animal that can go off like this.

Wildlife movies make me hungry. O_o

The reason we have endangered species is that some person will always think "Hey, what the hell is that?!", closely followed by "Wonder what it tastes like". It will always happen. Fact of life.

What, you mean like, whether to reach for the Blunderbuss or not?

O_o

Well, my sister's dog as mentioned elsewhere has to be dealt with since it's gained a taste for blood. I've heard stories of things like this.

I need to make another Penguin thing called "Penguins' March of the Apocolypse"

Don't forget, there's territorial issues too.

I can point out one territorial anime *coughlobstercough*

There are lots of things we've known about animals for a long time but if you think about them, they're weird.

"Hey, look! A chicken! Hey, I know! I'll eat the next thing that comes out of its butt!"

O_o

"Wow, a cow! Hey, let's squeeze those dangly things underneath it and drink what comes out!"

O_O

Besides, animals have done a lot of things that have been really unexpected. Your sister's dog likes blood. My cat beats the crap out of badgers at every opportunity. What's next, an evil canary?
Title:
Post by: Drace on July 24, 2005, 03:17:06 PM
My cats likes to kill birds. Sometimes they eat them but mostly they let them rot somewhere in the yard.
Title:
Post by: Razor on July 24, 2005, 10:37:27 PM
lol, cats have known to kill birds for their owners as gifts, then they get told bad. poor, cute things.

Heh, reminds me of my neighboor's cat.  Birds, bunnies, rats, on their front porch, or, sometimes the cat would bring it in their house.  Eww...

heh, attack of the penguins?

This is a famous one,

Then again we have the Supreme Warlord here,

What's better than birds, is to watch a cat get tipsy. My dad's ex gf had a cat, he'd sit there with a glass of wine and the cat would drink with his paw 'till he fel off the table. Ahhhh... great fun... but I still think there should be a mexican standoff...er... Alaskan Standoff... I guess...

March of the Penguins looks like the possible Worst Movie of All Time. And I don't say that often. Ok, I say  THAT often, but I don't usually give a movie a bad vibe before seeing it. And I like penguins. :guns: Die producers of this movie!!!!!
Title:
Post by: Drace on July 25, 2005, 06:28:55 AM
It's a documentery, no movie.

Documentaries are for nerds. Except Family Guy's Documentary on the firetruck.

The fire truck can consume 3 times its own weight.  HONK HONK! The ambulances will have to wait for their turn.
