Title: Help!

I downloaded Offline Charas just now, and then I updated the files.  Whenever I double click the Charas.ex icon, a little window pops up that says charas.ex for a split second, then goes away again.

I went into properties and tried to change the compatibility.  I tried changing it to Windows 95, 98/Me, NT, and 2000.  I have a Windows XP.

No matter what I change the compatibility to, it does the same thing.  Can someone help me here?

I, too, am having this problem. Every time I try to open Charas.Ex, a microsoft debugger screen pops up, and Charas.Ex closes. Please help.....

For Charas.EX to work, you'll need to have at least the basic update, mostly with the official download. You'll need to extract all files in a seperate folder. When you either use the updater or Charas.EX, the updater will start and update Charas.EX, thus extracting the needed resources. Without at least one resource (mostly the leer.chm, which is German for empty), Charas.EX will not run.

To DL the offline version, there's a link at the top of the home page that  says Charas.EX, right next to the Forums link.  Right click and save target on the links at the bottom of that page.
