-

-
I HAVE a torrent. I just have no idea what to do with it lol
-
Download the Bittorent its a downloader for torrents and its veryeasy to use ;)
-
wha? what do you DO with torrents?!
-
... torents:
What is BitTorrent?
BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file-sharing protocol designed by Bram Cohen (http://www.bitconjurer.org), and a family of of BitTorrent compatible clients (software) support this p2p protocol. BitComet is a C++ BitTorrent client running on Windows, compatibale with BitTorrent along with many enhancement.
BitTorrent is designed to facilitate file transfers among multiple peers across unreliable networks. While downloading, clients will simultaneously upload already downloaded data to other BitTorrent clients interested in that data.
The HTTP/FTP way (Problem: more customers require more bandwidth):
In other words once you decompress the file from the torrent you just delete it.
A simple pic will show you how to Download what is inside the Torrent
-
You can download stuff with it using a Torrent program. The torrent of example: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, will download the movie Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
-
-_-' Don't be dense, they are telling you how to use the torrent files, you download bittorrent and install it then you can click on the torrent file and start downloading.
-
I personally use bit tornado. That one was the best fit for me.
-
Tornado is good yes. Used it myself.
But I found Azureus better. Try out all 3 and pick the one that suits best for you.

IF we can talk and give links to BT files then why not Roms? If you're gonna get into BT stuff, get a firewall, Iso program, 120% Alcohole,
Deamon Tools, a good codec pack, and bit tornado.. That's all I shall tell you, all those will play a key role, depending on what you download using BT.
-
ah well, figured it out...(dragonblaze told me)..anyways, thanks guys.
-
I'm sure once you get the hang of it, you'll be just like us!
*Brings up BitComet. Checks to see if his Zim episodes are finished.*
"What? 10 minutes and only 80%?"

WinISO is a good iso program. It also works on .bin files.

With the power of BT, ISO buster and Deamon Tools I have been able to download PC games and play with, right off my hard drive. Also with the powr of 120%, Iso Buster, CD buner, Emulators, Roms, a Dreamcast I've been able to play nintendo, sega, Supa Nintendo, and a few playstation games on my Dreamcast. and using, ISo buster, my DC, BT, a DC VCD, and Nero I've been able to play VCD's on my Dreamcast. There's a lot that can be done with BT. I know of the best Sites for BT files, Supr Nova was the best, omg that site owned but it's not more :( no site compares to it, accept a few warez sites....*cough*
-
There were many good sites taken off.
Suprnova.org
ShareReactor.com
ShareConnector.com (after they took of SR this became the best)
And IsoHeaven, where I got all my games from. I salute all the creaters of these sites.
-
Supr has move to Exeem (google) and there's a lot of Supr mirror sites out there like novatina (google).
-
ok, I have another question lol
(and btw smokey nice Avatar )
is it possible to get the files to work on a CD in a modified PSX? (not a yaroze) if so, how?
-
Yeah. Get a modchip.
And I definately recommend the original Bittorrent, as it's cleaner, simply and much faster than any other torrent program I've tried.
-
There's 2 other ways, one isn't even worth trying at all and there's a lot of bugs to doing it. the other way is an PSX exchange CD.
-
ah, I have a modchip, but when I played the BoF4 disk, t passed the sony screen, but froze att the playstation one :S
