Title: chipset

i got a chipset called roshis island off charas and wen i put it in my game only the upper layer shows and the rest is pink instead of water or sand.  anyone no how to fix this?

You have to import it with the RAW Material Importer.

The icon looks like this:

Click the Chipset folder, and the Import button to locate the chipset. Make sure you double-click the pink background color (and it's flashing).

EDIT: Also, this is the wrong forum. Next itme, post something like this in the RPG Maker 2K forum (even though it says 2K, it's for 2K3 as well)
