Title: .NET??

Yeah, here I am expecting Visual Basic/Studio 7 to release, but instead .NET comes out.

Is VB.NET going to be the standard from now on, or is this a seperate thing from VB7... this has always confused me.

Well, 1, VB.NET was released about a year ago. Second, it IS supposed to be the newest version of Visual Basic, but it rehashes a lot of things and is closer to C++ than it's old self.

Most people still prefer VB6 right now.
