Alright, so I'm in the process of making an ABS, and I finally finished the magic system for all but one thing. I haven't put in the cost for magic spells yet. If I do put in costs, you'll only be able to cast about 3-5 spells before you run out, because I made magic that powerful, but then again, If I put in costs you could still do speed casting to kill bosses real easy. So, here's what I want your input on
Should my magic system be:
Cost to cast with no recharge time.
Cost to cast with slight recharge time.
Cost to cast with major recharge time.
Or, no cost to cast with a major/slight recharge time (this way you can use as much magic as you like, but not spam it all over the place.)
So, just tell me what you think would be best. If you need more info about how the game works to make your choice, just ask. Other then that, this is all I need. Pretty easy en?

Personally, I like suggestion 2 (cost to cast with slight recharge), or something where you can cast it as much as you want with no recharge time, but the cost is your health, so you'd have to use it wisely or else you'd die.

I think wiyth a very long recharge time cuz when i play some games i use a lot of magic and be wierd like that and its annoying

Yes, I thik I should go with long recharge.
the health idea would be sucicde, because i make battles go one of three ways.
A: melee
B: you cna waste mana if you want, but you can use the gun just as easily,
or C: magic is needed because the monsters are to fast to battle other ways.
Magic is the most useful thing in this game, so the health idea won't work, but thanks for the input :hi:
