For me, that doesn't mean anything to me. A system is nothing if you don't have the games to back it up. I'm not saying the PS3 is going to suck, I'm just saying I'll prefer the Revolution. It's a similar case of picking....Final Fantasy 10 over Chrono Trigger. Final Fantasy 10 was WAAAAY more powerful, but Chrono Trigger was way sweeter. That's how I feel the comparison between the Revolution and PS3 will be.
That's just me though, feel free to state your opnion. Afterall, that IS what this thread is about no?

Oh hush now I'm-going-to-get-irritated-just-because-I-want-to-be-oppositional guy now, it ain't just that guy in FF12.

It ain't just that, overall the story and design looks just slapped together by an amateur, the character design overall is crap... and it has a flipping off soldier. XD

And as a bonus they rip off other games in their design... ugh! And they'll get away with it because their Squarenix -_-

So basically the FF series is going to pot, but people will still like it because it has FF on it. But the fact is, it's not Final Fantasy but rather some garbled insanity that has lost it's creative luster.

It's official though, Final Fantasy as you once knew and loved it, is officially dead. I give you that warning.

As for the console. I'm going to wait and see here, see what comes out for those consoles until deciding to buy one, whats a console worth is most of it's games are duds?

Tonberry starts a way off, and slowly, as FF got games, it game closer. After FF7 was made, BLAU, Knife. From there on, FF started to decompose, so it went downhill. God, I hate FF8.

I've finished both games, and have no idea of what you speak.

But on a related topic, in on of the "Red Mage answers mail" questions, someone made up this theory on how ALL FFs (up to X, which was the last one out at the time) were interrelated. Freakin' 1337.
