It's not pathetic at all. Too many people today play guitar, bass, drums, etc. It's good you play an instrument like that. It's needed more in bands/orchestras. Anyway, now about what I play...

I play keyboard/piano mainly outside of school, though I plan on playing the piano at solos night. Otherwise in school I play mallet percussion. I usually am on the xylo and sometimes I play the chimes.

Its safe to assume that if someone plays an instrument, they have a band, AND they are going to make it big once (insert excuse here) clears up.

Anywho, I played Sax in band for 4 years (quit to learn my own style of play rather than that military-styled stuff they teach in school) and I've taken a liking to the Piany.

I've always wanted to be a drummer, but never took lessons or anything so I also tend to bang on tables or other things when I have a lot of caffine in me.

I kinda of play something, I started learning the electric guitar, adn im trying to get hold of a book to learn out of, as I cant afford guitar lessions anymore. I want to learn the guitar and be able to play it, but i cant at the moment.

Sorry if you actually can play. But I know tons of black guys that are always drumming as if they have skill, but they can't keep a beat to save their lives.

Anyways, I still play guitar off and on, I've started fiddling around with the blues harp and have been looking out for a banjo, but that's about it.
