Of course I would buy it, if it wasn't by the fact I still have a PS1, and with my money, a PS2 would have to wait a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

Suikoden IV is more enjoyable when you don't try to measure it up to the previous Suikoden's. That's why people dislike the FF series after FFVII, because FFVII was the game of the series that most people played. Then, people expected the future installments to be even better than FFVII, which didn't happen. I did like FF9 better than 7, though... more emotion.
I didn't like Suikoden 4 to begin with because I tried really hard to measure it up toSuikoden 2 and 3 standards, but it fell hard. When I played it a second time, I liked it a lot more because I tried not to compare it and play it as if it were the first Suikoden game to come out. Surprisingly, I had more fun.
Suikoden 5... I hope it is a good stand alone game.

I agree. ff8 isn't worth mentioning, let alone proper capitalisation.

Btw those who mentioned FF8. It is a good game even tho u picked FF7. Realistically, a large portion of it is overated. but anyways. I won't go into an ff war. This is about suikoden 5

The Queendom of Faleena is supposedly around the Island nations (the Great Sea mentioned by Shu). I believe that is it's name later on in the time line.
As a stand alone game, Suikoden 4 wasn't too bad, but as part of a series, it wasn't very appealing. I actually think the main character of 4 is cool looking.
Suikoden 3 was a great game. It was extenuous however, but it made up for it with some good characters. Chris + Geddoe = PWNAGE
Suikoden 2 is undoubtedly one of the elite RPGs. It has the deepest story, the most memorable characters, and the best music of all 4 Suikodens. The politics and the war and the emotion is what makes Suikoden 2 so great.
Suikoden 1 is the base game which was great for it's time (1995). The only problem I have with Suikoden 1 is the fact that it's too short.
