Title: N.E.T episode 1 Infestation

Okay two things
First um I gave up on my other Game
Cold Blood: the Curse of ishantii
I just lost interest
second This Game is my new one K it's Called
N.E.T episode 1: Infection
Okay First I 'm gonna tell u My story ( obviously)

K so:

The Year is 2080 and radical
advancements in technology
Have Created A world Filled
with crime And Corruption
After The end of the Sixth
nuclear war The World is
mostly in ruins. Few of the Areas
On land are inhabitable and Humans
Are Begining Die out.
Along with The Devastation
Peace has Been asured as
The last of the N-jamer Cancellers
Are Deactivated. Humans
Can Barely find Releif in Reality
along with these Technological
advancements Came
the Evolution of Video Games.
The Most popularof these The N.E.T
a Game of Colossal proportions.
Originally Designed as an online game
The N.E.T. Was Remodled
after the the 4th Nuclear war
Using Nano technology and
Organi-digitization Methods
The N.E.T was Modified to be
A World were Humans Could
Escape Reality after the
Dawning of the Cyber Era
this Game became the
Primary Escape route from Reality
However The N.E.T. Is Changing
And Cyberians Have been
Dragging Viruses Into
The Real world. Causing
A New Conflict to Brew
this Time Between Humans
And The world They Created


K know Please reply and tell me what U think and if the story is Cliche and if the Story is any good


Edit: also Just To let U know I will be using an Abs and Cms
If U need Help with an Abs I can help Making A Simle one just so U know

Edit: K maybe Infection isn't a very good Name uh How about Infestation

Total. .Hack. Rip. Well if you want you could just make a .Hack fangame it would be like so much better but without the name Dothack or anything its basically a rip.

Meh. I liked the consept of the .hack games, but found the gameplay lacking. I think a RPG2k3 ABS with some original weapon ideas and some ally AI would make a better game then .hack did, with the same storyline though.

I severely want to call you an idiot lol

the gameplay for.hack was good once you got into it. But, I doubt an rm2k3 version would be as good as you say...

LOL, clearly you haven't taken a look at my game Pact yet leon. I have basically the same gameplay as dot hack with a slightly better magic system. Instead of just looking on and casting you move the spell lock on yourself.

I believe it says to ignore page one. page two has some elements of what I originally was going to have as a DBS, but read on and you'll find it's ABS.

I'm guessing FF means final fantasy and CC chrono cross, but I could be mistaken.

Then yes, that's exactly like how my spell ring works, only you can still attack while moving the ring, you just can't move or the ring will reset.

edit: K i just wanna know how is it like .hack
is it because the People Can Enter a World wide game system
or because the people are Being attacked By viruses

.hack is about an online virtual game where some hackers have put a virus in it that is causing players to go into a comostatis when they die and/or are datadrained. One hacker passes the virus onto a new player to help him datadrain the viruses with their own virus attack.

The viruses in the game also caused power outages and explosives to go off without notice in the real world.

And, the name is also much like .hack, as it's a 4 part game, with part one being 'infection' two being 'mutation' three being 'outbreak' and four being 'quoritine (sp?)'.

k i got ya but So far I don't se any large resembelance
other than a Virtual reality world Even though in this game it's a substitute for reality

First The story is about the World as in earth in the year 2080
the world and aall the Damage that was done to it was done during the Six nuclear wars that have In it Happened over the Span of 75 years Between now and then the Viruses in this Game enter the real World and Kill People not Set off Explosives
and also the Story Has 3 parts to It
Part one: Infection/infestation
Part two: Conflict/War
and part three: Destruction

also: Each Episode Contains Different People

Meh. It's similar, but not the same.

Also, with each episoide having different people i guess I can expect no lvling system (or at least the kind that doesn;t have you go out to battle to get your EXP, sorta like Zelda, you get nothing but rupees and bombs/arrows for killing monsters)?

There Might not be a leveling system but each Episode will be a game in itself only one Single Character Will remain persistent in it through out the Game i will make it like Zelda but not totaly the same.

Kay so ive got the first area of the game started finally i made charas the first area in the game Kay i would like poeple to know that im using certain people as trainers u know they teach u how to do stuff

Thought about being a janitor, but I guess a Magic Trainer is cooler. I'll submit a charset later today because right now its 8:11 AM and I don't have my resources because I'm in school.

I can even make you a special battle animation if you want.

Thats a nifty looking chipset you're using. Like PSP nifty. I'd be happy if you let me make a few maps for you with it. You don't have to use them if you don't like I just love making maps. :)

Btw i think using people from charas in your game is an awesome concept. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Hmmm, I'd enjoy being in yet another game.

Make me the rival! So long as you don't make me some weak *** guy though.

In the event that you wish in know, my personailty reflects a more passionate and orderly scence, so fire or thunder would probally be a good element for me If I use magic. And, IN REAL LIFE I do fencing, which is sword fighting with a thin rapier/epee/flamberge. I also like to screw around with javalin throwing, but I never took clases or did it in high school (like I could've if I wanted to anyways) .

So yeah, I'd love to be the rival guy. If you need me to make a charset up for you I guess I could. So, just tell me If you need me too.

Meh, I'm sorry. I've gotten myself into making so many things that i've forgetten about this. I have to do maps for people and still have a bchar to do for weerd. Just pick something yourself I guess. I'll make a charset for you eventully, but till then you can chose something and then when I give you my guy you can just switch the charset to that guy.

You won't be able to use a CMS map, I learned that the hard way. You'll have to go through it with pictures, or else all your events will go back to their point of origin every time you exit the menu.

oO major posting issues for me (note my deleted triple post on your thread, it never told me any of those got out) and i only felt like ranting about it once....

Right,  finally finished my guy.... so yeah.... it's the same poor bastard that I use in my PACT game as well, but I figure the more I send him out, the better the chance he might end up in a finished game.

Just give me credit for it, because I made this one myself. It's just an edit, but I did make it myself.

Edit- Right, forgot this. Use the guy in the lower left. He has a with sword and without sword pose.

other then a complete and total .hack rip again, it's fine... sorta.

However, just my opinion, I've never liked games where the hero is tall. Yeah, I know 6.1 isn't real tall, hell I'm 5.11 1/2, but I still don't like tall people. So, if you make more characters, don't give them a lot of height.

Sorry to bump but im gonna let everyone know im putting this game on hold for now. and will resume it once I begin to have ideas of how i want the story to go. I forgot most of it e.e well anyways im gonna
Put it on hold and work on it more later.
