Title: To those of you who hate FireFox..
Post by: Trevlac on September 10, 2005, 04:24:26 AM
^.^

No more shall you hate its beauty.  There is a plugin for it called Greasemonkey.  This thing allows you to code scripts to impliment into the browser itself!  What's the use of it? Think! Ads go bye-bye!  I happen to be viewing this page with NO GOOGLE ADS...

http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/

And for the no-ad script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/1310

You have to restart FireFox before you can use GreaseMonkey

to install the script, right click its link (not the one I gave you, the .js file) and click "install user script"

This thing is freaking ownage.  The possibilities don't end! I COULD MAKE CHARAS RED!

Just ****ing get Firefox. It is spyware-free, and it's spyware free. Unlike Internet Explorer, which has a lot of loopholes.

Well, I've been doing some research. A little DNA testing here, some scientific experiments about mutigens and their effect on bacteria found on Mars, a little about the speed of light as it approaches the event horizon of a black hole, you know, generally a lot about the effects of gravity within the first few moments of the Universe's existance, and I have come to a conclusion.

I must be sechsier than j00.

greasemonkey is vital, but for adblock, i prefer the adblock plugin itself.

An action Tv-Show where they used puppets for everything. I didn't like it very much.

It's also an email client developed by the Mozilla Foundation, who made Firefox.
