Title: I'm back...sort of

Hello everybody, this post is quite possibly the only one I'll have time for for a while (although I've lurked the past couple days LOL).  

As most of you know, my home state (Louisiana) got socked a new one by Hurricane Katrina.  The city I was born in (New Orleans) is basically destroyed, and the house where I live has a tarp on the roof, but is still standing.  There was also about two feet of standing water in my house, the tree in my backyard was uprooted and snapped in two, and shingles are blown off the side and the back of my house.  

Where was I when all this was going on?  Safe, in Texas.  I left town that Sunday morning before the storm hit.  I am staying with relatives until my house is repaired.  

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm safe and sound and okay.  We took a beating but we'll survive and all that hokey stuff.  LOL

I'd take a good, long, hot, antibacterial shower if you were in that water. :|

I certainly hope my fellow Texans are living up to our well-known  hospitality.
