Title: Trailers.

I was just thinking, does anyone know any freeware for making trailers for things. Not Windows Movie Maker, I can't use it on my computer, as it's Windows 98 and WMM requires XP.

I don't need a link as such, just the name of anything which fits the bill would be very much appreciated.

I don't think there's anything akin to WMM on Win98 (I also have 98, and I've spent hours looking for a movie maker for it), so your best bet would be to find a screen capture program that allows you to take videos of your screen, then import those to an animation maker and assemble the trailer there.

Or change to XP, cause it´s so much better...

Anyway, FRAPS will do that job about the screen capturing thing Warxe was talking about. It´s a really nice program actually.

Yes, however, the old version is no longer available. The new version puts "Fraps" on your clips, unless you buy it.  Here. (http://charas-project.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=12134&forumid=29&catid=6)
