Well, in the credits of FF: AC do they play a song from FF8 (more specifically the song that plays in FF8's ending, during the party that shows in the tiny screen)??????????????

EDIT: It´s the last song played before the whole Cloud riding his bike thing comes...

well considering its the SAME composer...maybe they just sound alike? Ennio Morricone had very similiar sounding peices, but they all varied in many ways. I dunno. just some food for thought.

I just watched the fight scenes.

..which pretty much was the entire movie, but I didn't see that part.

I just finished watching it (coworker was my supplier). Nice, though never having played FF7 before (I know the characters from all the hype and crap) I was a little lost. Perhaps I should take the time to play it some day.

The song I speak of is during the Credits! During the credits, several FF7 songs are played but the last one, before the special scenes of cloud riding his bike, IS a FF8 song.

The FF8 song I speak of is the song that plays during the cresdits of FF8, when Selphie is recording a party...

Actually, that song is from FF1 (a remix version from Final Fantasy Origins). Its used right in the begining of the game when the heros cross the bridge, and I think its used again at the end credits.

Anyway, it makes more sence that a song from the original game is played during the credits, after all, that game led the way for the rest of them includiing this movie.

How bout someone compares the FF8 to the FF1 to the FF7 movie and see just how different they are?

Well I don't have time to play through FF8 to see how close the track is, but the one in FF7 sounds identical to the one in FF1. The same song could be used in the end of FF8 as well.

... Are you talking about the Epilogue? Its in every final fantasy up til 10... Its a triditional thing. Its in 1-9 but not in 2j.
