Yeah. I just saw this, opened the link, looked at it, didn't really read it or go to page 2, and decided to post it to anyone who cared.
IGN.com (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/664/664475p1.html)
So yeah.
-
Dude, that is much better than the older ones! Or at least it looks that way.
-
*sigh*
If only they would make something like that for the computer. With the PS2 you're games are limited to the size on your memory card, you have no chance of importing gfx or music, its very difficult to distribute games, and worst of all, my ps2 has a broken lazer :(
It looks really cool, but it has so many limitations since its on the PS2, that I think I'll just stick with the computer versions, especially since the computer one can now be boughten legally.
-
I flipping hate the first PS1 version. That looks cool though.
-
I agree with DragonBlaze They should make that for computer. It be alot harder for people to distribute it illegaly and they would make a lot more profit.
-
It sucks, don't get it.
-
You say that, and then, when you think about it, your little mini-sig says "FFVII Sucks" So... Obviously we know we shouldn't exactly look to your guidance first no offense.

He does have a point there Ace :p I hope this doesn't turn into a war against people who like and dislike FFVII. :(
But I do have a feeling that this will suck compared to the computer versions of rpg maker.
Just curious, have you tired out rpg maker 3?
-
oh man i memba lookin at that like in umm.....jan maybe...i thought everybody already knew bout this??? yea it looks good to me tho cuz i have rpgmaker 2 so im def gunna get this one
-
You arent' limited to the memory card, in fact a USB keyboard AND a 40-gig hard drive are REQUIRED to run this. It isn't bad, in fact, its great.
-
Well... cetinally looks easier and better then the 2nd one, and It'll be far easier to make an ABS with this. I might just buy it, bnut doubtful. Least the battle system is cool in this one. The second one didn't show your characters.
-
Looks good but also harder to make stuff with.I'll wait for someone else to get it frist then see what they have to say.
-
I wonder how the evolution of RPG maker for consoles will go throughout time, right now were getting a glimpse of the power on the ps2 (although limited)
Xbox could be next... What if we could get to the point (Year 3mil)
Where we could create games like Fable With the click of the button, then just flick your wrist if you want an advanced game hehe :D
-
By then there will be game room thingy like in dot hack.
-
RPG Maker will never be made for the XBox, or any XBox system. Enterbein (they're the ones who make the rpg makers for the ps2 right?) will stick with the playstation because the playstation is made by sony, a Japanese company, and they're a Japanese company, the XBox is made by Microsoft, an American company.
If they make an rpg maker 4, it'll be on the PS3 which will be a ton more powerful than the XBox (first one that is), so its not that big of a deal, if you go with playstations that is :p
Making sweet games with the flick of a wrist would be incredably awesome. Maybe if they made a machine to read what was in your head and turn it into a game, it would be possible.
-
Oh boy would that be entertaining, you live you rpg :D I can't wait!!!

Right there... That's what i want. Because, I like to imagine things like in rpg games and things, and i have a friend and we both just write 30000 plots a day for rpgs and play around with them, cause we like to write stories and stuff, but we can never make them come to life due to our lack of rpg coding / skills / knowledge of the database of variables and those hard vocabulary words :D

Agreed...

LMAO I've actually never played the game, I just keep that there to anger the fanboys. >=P But I was about to get this game at gamestop and everyone of the guys highly recommended that I don't get it because it sucks. Now, if it was one person, I might've still gotten it. But all 5 people? So I took their advice and didn't get it.
-
Yes we should wait till it gets cheap thenthink about geting it.
-
It's HIGHLY overrated.

Wrong answer, man. They know nothing. Me and my friend hasve stopped compairing games to FF7 because EVERYTHING looks bad when compared to it. *Goes away to hug FF7*
-
-_- The only thing you like is Tifa...
If I start comparing games to FFVII, than some of the shitty games I've played will look awesome. Really, it's a good game. But not more than that. It's better than other overrated games like GTA: Vice City and San Andreas.
