I'm trying to make a chipset of a Chinese 'item shop' for a game I'm working on. I tried it up but I couldn't figure out which ones to use, so... I'm confused. Believe it.
BTW, I already thought about just using "Item Shop" but that just seemed to lame for Chinatown setting.

EDIT: If you don't see the Chinese symbols above, your computer probably doesn't support them. I don't know how you would download them.

Thnx man, that's perfect!! But I wonder which would be the best Traditional or Simplified Chinese?
-
Heh, how many do you think would know the difference? ;)
Well, which ever you think suits the town. If it's modern, go with simplified. If it's an ancient-style Chinese town, go with traditional.
-
Go with traditional no matter what.
For signs.
-
En, I always thought it would be "Ching chong chang". Anyways, nobody will notice the difference, so worry not about which format it's in.

Even if you were kidding, that still is pretty offensive.

I agree with Snake Eater.

Actually, I blame cartoons. Thats how they presented Chinese.

True, but that shouldn't be something someone says.
(or types. ;))

Please, let's not get into "Hong Kong Fuey" jokes...
BTW, a little more help on this would be cool:

Cartoons or not, this is a multicultural forum, and we do have Chinese members. Remarks like that really shouldn't be tolerated.

*nods ina greement, does a thumbs up for razor*

Ditto on that. "Ching chang somethin or another-a" might have been easier, but it wouldn't have made any sense and probably pi$$ alot of people off. Considering the fact that the Sega Genesis version of Ghostbusters has many oriental "references"(?) in it.
