YES EVERYBODY HAVE TO INTRODUCE THEMSELVES IN THE WELCOME BOARD BEFORE POSTING HERE IF IT'S YOUR FIRST POST!!!
No, seriously, everybody who says that should get kicked in the nuts. THERE IS NO OFFICIAL RULE FOR IT.
And if there was a rule, it would only apply to the Request board.
So, if somebody posts their first post as a topic and that topic is in Request, THEN you can point that out, or else prepare to get dissed by either a mod or somebody who does know the rules.
-
lol...where'd all this come from?
-
Lemme guess...Because I miserunderstood the rules here:

Ghostclown and gary are gonna act pissy now...

Yup. I told those wannabe-popular noobs like Maxine many times to leave it be. I hate people only saying "OMFGZ0RS!!!!!11!1!11 INTODUSE!!!!"

Gary's right. Introducing yourself isn't mandatory at all. The only requiement we have is that you don't make your first post in the Request forum to ask for stuff. But if you don't want to introduce yourself, or if you want to just jump into a discussion in progress, feel free.
-
hmm, that rule confuses members...
We automatically think "hey... If he wants to request, he should introduce himself"
-
There are enough stickies on the Request forum to handle it. If the new member doesn't read them and posts with their first post asking for stuff anyway, a moderator will handle the situation.
We appreciate your enthusiasm, but really, there are more than enough mods these days. We can handle things around here.

whoa, Jerry snapped.
-
This wasn't the first time though.

Gary, you my friend, rock. *thumbs up*
