How many D&D players are here, and if you do play, how ur caracter sheet.
-
I do, but HELL, iīm always the DM...I hate it, really! I wanted to have a human warrior...
-
I do play DnD. My friends and I are in a monster style of play so I'm an Archon who's job is to be the insanest Wild Mage in the realm.
-
I WANT to play D&D, but my sister thinks I have too short of an attention span to, so I never get included in any of her games. It really sucks for me.
-
I wonder if theres enough people ot have a forum game of DnD. But then there that reoccuring thing about dice.
-
there's a die generator. but i've never played DnD BTW. i've played the video games for it though.
-
is ther any way we could use the die generator on charas
-
i don't know.
-
I play occasionally.
I heard there was some kind of dice roller thing for IRC that we could use to play over IRC. That would be cool.
:=) <= Bard!!!
-
I'm a DnD guy too, except I'm DM ^_^
-
Well, who would play dnd here at charas, and thats only if we can use a dice generator.
-
That would boost our posts sky-high since every actions would require a post...maybe an open chat but not on a forum IMO.
-
I've played one of the original computer versions back when Windows wasn't out yet. I was like 3. But my mother and father and all their friends would come round and play Dungeons and Dragons: Curse of the Azure Bonds. Good times.
But now those days are gone forever, I should just let them go.
-
True...True.. But if only set number of people can play, say 4 and a DM
-
When there will be a dialogue, people will post a lot. A dialogue can be long, and people must post after each other. That can make a lot of post. Do you... understand what I mean?
-
I think Iīd play, depending on how much time it would require...
-
Yah, but then wher could threre be a FREE online Hosted dnd game.
-
I really want to get into it. I've talked to my friend about it at length, and he's shown me a few beginner's books, but I've never got around to actually playing it.
-
I tell you, we can do it over our own irc channel (#charasdnd). And I think there is a dice generator that you can use there for everyone to see so we know that no one will cheat.
-
DnD kids kinda creep me out =/
-
Old board games have become dead to me. Wouldn't waste 10 minutes on it honestly. Plus it's rather bland without music and special effects and all that good stuff, yeah!
-
Ouch, that's too bad for you, Darkfox. A lot of people out there can indulge themselves in the simple joys of the dice roll. Hope you never get stuck on a desert island with a bunch of people, a dungeon, and a couple of 12 sided die. :)
-
I know how to be a DM in the following versions: DnD, AD&D and DnD 3.5...I wouldnīt like to be a DM though...(I have this good story, if anyone needs it...)
Best would be if we could all meet and play, that would be cool cause iīd get too really meet you guys. But as itīs no possible, letīs do the best we can (since my Charas cross-over didnīt make much success...)
-
I hated dice ever since that incident... don't want to talk bout it <.<..
-
Tomi, tell me in detail about your idea.
-
Ok, you know the messaging system, IRC? Well I know you can download tools to use in the chatrooms, such as this dice roller:
http://richards.sdf1.org/dice/
Anyway, all the talking will be done in the chatroom (I'm not sure how, but I think we can get our own room thing) And we can use the dice roller for any dice rolling :D. We could meet at some certain time, and play.
-
I havent played in a couple of years....
I was going to try being DM this winter, but im preocupied DMing my RPGmaker game.....
Ive always wanted to play a drow campaign.
My last Character was a Psionicist.......Named Dom...He was a freakin Jerk...I loved playing him.

I think MIRC has it where you can: /j #randomroom name, and it just makes up a channel, but is that die gen compatible with MIRC?
-
I don't know, but I use MIRC, so I'll test it out and get back to you guys.
