Title: DVD Protection

Let's set up a hypothetical situation here.
Let's just say one were to obtain for a certain holiday, let's say Christmas, the DVDs as it were of a particular program, in this instance let's just say... Lost, Season 1. Now, if one were to desire to capture a screenshot of a certain event from this particular Lost program, how would one go about doing it?

Cause, as we all know, when one print screens a copyright'd DVD, it does not copy the image in question.


So in conclusion, How?

I have a way but I use it  whenI'm using windows media player.
frist get an image capture like the ones you use to make the trailers of the games the you save it as an avi after that use the Image ready and choose the scene you want. its a lot to do but thats what I do to get images from dvd's :)

Err... DVD to VHS to AVI or something. Lots of old tricks. Taking pictures of the screen with flash photography. Plus I'm sure there are illegal program's that'll let you get away with it.

And I call that program PowerDVD.

Thats a lot easier then what I used to do...

I used Windows Movie Maker to shrink the movie down to 10 seconds or so with the image that I wanted. Then I imported it into rm2k3, played the movie, and took the screen shot there.

PowerDVD, good choice. Awesome program.
Might I also suggest Media Player Classic?
