Well, what's really so bad about these little guys right here?

I mean seriously. Why do people hate them so bad? I found a post by Darkfox like 3 years old, and he was reprimanding some newb for using one. I say, if they're there, why should we be ridiculed for using them? Sure, a lot of newbs use 'em, but who cares? It's just a smilie, it's not like they went and posted porn or something.

I think, ppl shouldn't be so harsh toward someone that uses one of these. It's just a smilie, and a lot better than some of the others, if you ask me. Like this one.  :flower:  and this one  :smurf: That last one is jsut kinda weird. It says smurf but it looks like a smilie with a diaper on its head.

That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for your time, and think about it.  ;)

Well, i think they are completly unecessary just like Smurf and ...Flowerpower.

And the fact that the new guys that isn´t that mature use them because they think "Oh! Shiny gun...  Omg he is shooting!"

And still i´ve never seen anyone use the Smurf or flower...

haha, I don't find gun smilies annoying at all. I really don't. But threads about them being so is annoying >_>

I know I know, general concern. Realy...the bottom line, no one REALLY cares.  And df, eh, you should pm him if you want to really understand why he does something, when someone publicly announces a problem about someone on here, they automatically assume you're attacking them. And we all know that's not the case.

I agree with some of what you're saying, but we've been over this subject too many times. That post by DF was, as you say, years old and in the past. I think we're more tolerant now.

Also, "bier" means "beer" in English.

Uh? I wrote Bier in Google translation, and it doesn't seem to exist in english... since there was no translation. It look more like 'Bière' wich is Beer in french.

Well, my point is, Charas has plenty of worthless smilies, and I actualyl like the gun smilies. I jsut never post them because I know peopel will be like, ugh, you're so immature.

I don't really care.  And I like the Smurf  :smurf: and the Goatee Dude :=) . The only one I don't really like is the :hi: one.  It looks more like "hit self on head" than "hi".

PS: Bier also German for Beer.  The yellow is the cup and the white is the foam.

As far as I now, bier is German for beer. Beer I'm pretty sure having been born in German, and then the English took the word but made it look more English by making it double e.


Furthermore, I was going to say something really important about gunsmilies and the two posts posters who use them.

But I forgot it completely.

No. The files are already hosted on the server, so it takes up no space when you use one.
