Title: **The Fortold Conquest: A Seekers Story Geo Version**

**The game consists of 4 questions in the beginning of the game to choose which main character you will become. There are 5 different Main Characters in my game along with other characters, different for each main character.**


This game is now going to be split into 5 different projects so thatll itll be easier for me with coding and demos and everything....thanxXx to Tomi for the idea!


Story
When the world was young there were two major powers, the Soul Seekers and the Umbra. The Soul Seekers were peaceful people who learned to harness the powers and balance their lifestyles with every living thing around them and their souls. The Umbra, on the other hand, were known more as the "Devourers of Souls". They would rather consume and over power every living things soul and enslave them to gain power for themselves. As the Soul Seekers were becoming less in numbers due to the Umbra, one Soul Seeker decided to wage war on the Umbra. By teaching his ways and through countless training, the Soul Seeker had made an army that he thought could take on the Umbra. The bloodshed of the battle waged on and on until the very last Umbra came face to face with the Soul Seekers leader. The head Umbra was then defeated and sealed away, to be forgotten in the black abyss of emptyness. Now after the great war between the two forces, one lay victorious and on top. Along with this victory came losses as well. Many Soul Seekers also did not survive, but they did not die in vain. After the war new government was formed and new rules established while the Soul Seekers lived ordinary lives. Eventually, with the Umbra gone, the Soul Seekers didnt need their powers anymore. Their powers started to become more dormant and forgotten until people didn't even know what an Umbra was anymore. Now with the Soul Seekers powers dormant and forgotten there are no more Soul Seekers in the world, or at least ones with awoken powers. Although this is true it is also true that Soul Seekers are still born and that they still do exist.......they just don't kno it.....that's all.


SOUL SEEKER
A person who is able to grasp the power of a soul/spirit in a certain sometimes physical manner, whether it be energy around a fist or morphed into a weapon. They also have the ability to "fuse" with a soul and change into a sort of demi or half soul like creature. they become "enchanted" lets say by the souls power and are granted new powers. In this form they are also much stronger, they have new techniques, and even there very appearance changes. A soul seeker is a very rare discovery...about 1 in 35,000,000 people are born a soul seeker. Also some are born one and dont even know they are, they lay dormant and there powers are never awoken. Unless its awoken then its different......

 A born soul seeker who uses souls as weapons in melee combat. He is very bright and loves to fight monsters and collect their souls to gain mor strength.He has been absorbing souls for so long he has grown an animal tail from the presence of their spirits and the power they contain. Now he is wishing to fully understand the meaning of being a true soul seeker and to find out his true destiny as one.

Age: 18
Height: 6'1
Class: Soul Seeker
Weapon: Soul

-Bills-
A high class knight who guards the king and wishes everything to be right and just. He teaches soldiers how to defend themselves against a real threat in battle and he has guarded the king his whole life, since he was taken in by his highness. Bills never knew his real family because they were killed by evil beings when he was just a baby while the kings army was fighting them.
Element-Lighting
Age: 19
Height: 5'10
Class: Knight
Weapon: Sword

 A wanderer, whos father was a well known thief who was executed by the king for trying to steal the crown. Now, roaming the vast plains, Adama takes any job for money and with his hatred for all royalty hopes one day he can meet the king who killed his father face to face.
Element-Ice
Age: 22
Height: 5'11
Class: Wanderer
Weapon: Bo Staff

 A young warrior with an unknown past who is looking for answers. He lives in a village with his adoptive parents and does not know of his real family until he discovers the truth behind his heritage.

 A dark knight who was taken from his family as a child and forced to learn the ways of the fiends. Growing up he always questioned himself and who he really was or is. Not really knowing right from wrong all the time he travels and blindly obeys his "fathers" orders.

wow...Those are some NICE chipsets. I wouldn't mind having some of thoses  *hint* *hint* the maps look great and so do the characters

Nice as always dude, I'd watch out for Meiscool, though. He'll prolly have something to say about those maps because there's no "life" to them. In other words, they're not done how he'd've  done them. XD

Sweet trailer! I can hardly decide which character's path I'd want to take first! Probably Adama or Gravin, they looked cool. Anyway, keep up this awesome work.

Sorry, but it had to be done, that was super great man. I'm actually jealous of a game for once, because I know I couldn't make battles that cool if I tried using the DBS.

I had the oppurtunity to test out this awesome game, and I'll now leave a review for you guys to wonder over about it.

Gameplay - 8/10
     I enjoyed going through the dungeons a lot more than the first one I played. The Charaset Monsters added a lot more to the dungeons than I thought they would. Also, the events that happened were believable, yet intriguing. I was pissed when Coak stole my money!

Music - 8/10
     Music is very important! If you're music sucks, than it's hard to play through a game without getting annoyed. You made some very good choices in your music, I liked the music I heard, it fit in well with the dungeons and events. But there were some situations where I felt it was a bit choppy and the music was switching around too fast. (like the intro.) But overall, very good.

Graphics - 9/10
     The one you all want to hear about. Well, it would have gotten a perfect 10, but there were some uses of the chipsets that brought it down. But the battle animations, monsters and sprites in general,  blended well and made it very enjoyable for the eyes.

Difficulty - 7/10
     Some of the battles were just too hard, JP! I had to fight the first boss three times! If it wasn't for the awesome GFX I might've just said f*ck it! ;)

Storyline - 7/10
     I've gotta admit, the storyline may seem a little cliche, but you made good use of it. It's definitely got an interesting plot. Can't wait for more!

OVERALL - 8/10

Side Notes This game is awesome. It's defintiely come a long way. It could use some work, but couldn't all games? Good luck, I expect this game to be one of the best to come out of Charas!

ZOMG I freaking love those move poses! If I ever make a DBS game I am so coming to you for the Battle characters and animations.

ok werll ive ben gone for awhile and playing around with photoshop alot aswell....ive been doin alot of college stuff cuz ima senior in highschool soo today since it was a snow day i decided to come back and make my game better! sooi made a bunch of things and helped my battle look way better i think! soo tell me what you think of what ive done so far??

IM tryin to do a picture based CMS and i already have the base done but im in need of some help with the sub menus like status equips skills and items ad such....heres what the main menu looks like when it comes up on the screen

I hate picture menus, they always turn out so flawed.

I hate map menus more, because when you warp outta the menu, all the events change back to their original places.

Nice screens. I like the GFX, simple but effectively good.

As for the choice.. hm... It's tough. Making 5 seperate stories was never going to be easy. But I don't think you should just throw away all that work. Maybe there's a way you can combine all the stories into one? It might make for an interesting pot.

I think you should keep the selection of 5 characters in the begining, but link them all together 1/4 of the way through or something. That's what I did with my game at least....

Split up the game in in 4? -_- that was unexpected... but never the less, the game will prolly' rock either way, besides, the more the marrier (in this case, the more games)

Nice CMS by the way.

CMS about the items, I think you also should add an info sheet or something that tells you about the item, like one the standard menu on RM, but this one tells slightly more in detail, i.e. Info, Price when sold to store, weigh etc. Just to make it a bit more interesting...

After you pick which item you want to use you are brought to a screen where you can do numerous things with it...the screen will look like this....heres a few examples
