Title: Rev draws yet again!
Post by: Revolution911 on January 11, 2006, 09:05:50 PM: Eh. Im an okay artist for my age. (Yeah, I'm 14, whaddya gunna do about it?)

Alright. I just got back form kicking my girlfriends *** in Rival Schools. So, I felt it was my duty to do justice to the character I kicked her *** with. So, here's shoma. No real reference. Its mostly from memory. My personal complaint is that arm thats holding the bat.

But they're both good, helluva lot better than I would've done. Especially with the shading part, two thumbs up! :bend:

The mistakes are more forgiving, and the sarcastic feel allows for such body structures to be acceptable, as well as masking any errors. The first, a more serious (despite its joyful façade) leaves less room for inaccuracies, such as the left arm being too short (as well as the bat), and the right arm being too pressed against the body for such a gesture. All in all though, it seems very good. I wish my past artistic capabilities would resurface. I used to be very good, but as of late (the past few years, actually), I've been in a real decline, reduced to mere doodles on a piece of paper which illustrate such simple things as spirals, basic shapes, and warped ideas. It seems I've been reduced to a reference drawer, as my mind's eye seems to have weakened significantly... Oh well...

5 stars, press twice R1, oponent's dead. Gawd, I can hear my 5 year old cousin voice "I won agaaaain, won agaaain! Looser, Looser!" well, that's must be because I was with 2 stars, he with five, and I was FIGHTING and not using the same button the whole fight! (and thought he was doing that, I managed to beat him up a few times.)

Oh, and it's really well drawn, I must say, as are the others, you have talent.

Post by: Grandy on January 27, 2006, 11:46:14 PM: Yes, but after I use the counter, he taps R1, and a glitch in the game make MY punch/kick go through his body while he is launching an attack that, due we can't block while punching, will hit me with 100% damage, with 5 stars this means if it is the baseball player (my version is in japanese, so I don't know his name) and is the thwrowing balls special, will take at least 80% of my life.

And you want a cheap way to win? Choose the helmet girl, go against the computer, hold the right button and keep tapping circle, I almost (damn glitch) won one of those fights when you're supposed to loss.

What happens is that the animation after the fight is slightly different (obviously) and you skip forward until you're outside Justice High School. As far as I can remember, none of your characters will be captured this way... which is how you get the better endings I think. Played the game like four years ago lol... maybe play it again soon... btw, my fave char was always Hinata (I think her name was)...

Oh, yeah and I like your art. You have a good sense of anatomy :D
