how to open them when WinRAR doesn't work? What program should I use?

I allways just unpack them. If that doesn't work, reinstal WinRar.

The package is probably Corrupt, try re-downloading it, or try Winace.

What do you mean by "does not work"...

What's with WinRar's trial period (40 days)? I've had it for like, a year, and it still works, even though it tells me it shouldn't... o_O

If you want to try a different program that handles RARs and other archive types, you could try  UltimateZip (http://www.darkop.com/downloads/ultimatezip.exe).

I use UltimateZip most of the time myself, unless I REALLY  want to compress, in which case there's 7zip. I'm not sure 7zip can open up RARs though.
