Ok, I'm stumped. I mean, absolutely up a tree and out of ideas. I am trying to give my main character a skill that is fully reliant on attack, has a variance of 2, and as little intelligence reliance as possible. He learns the skill, each time I test-play, yet he cannot use it in battle. It's greyed out, and it won't allow me to preform it.
The skill is set to target a single enemy, I gave it an effect rating of 12, and accuracy of 95 (for testing. I tried it at 100 too, but it still did'nt work)
Is there any solution or common glitch with skills and main characters? MP usage does'nt appear to be a the fault either, I just can't figure it out.
Edit: I am able to use self-directed healing skills, and in Test battle option, I can use both a self healing, and single enemy damage skill. However, in test play, only the self-healing skill will work, not the enemy damage skill.

*Shoots self*
Uncheck the attirbutes. You have it set to a weapon attirbute, which makes skills become grayed out.

*blinks* Well, I never would have thought that was a problem, but it worked. Thanks for your help.

Just to explain it a bit more than Meiscool...
If you go into the Attributes tab, you can see a couple of options to the next of the list that say "Weapon" and "Magic". "Weapon"-type attributes will only work when you have a weapon with that attribute equipped (if you had a skill set to the Sword attribute, you could only use it if the hero has a sword eqipped), while "Magic"-type attributes always work, regardless of equipment.
